6 confirmations
30 confirms for mined block to mature
1,00 coins block reward
1,000,000 Total coins
difficulty retarget every 10 minutes or 2 blocks
block reward halves every 1 year


Bounties:
First Pool = 50 BEST
Second Pool = 25 BEST
Third Pool = 25 BEST
Fourth Pool = 25 BEST
First PPLNS or other just not p2pool = 200 BEST
First PPLNS or other just not p2pool which runs over 1 month = 200 BEST

Also, approximately when do you plan to release it? hopefully with a very well worked out starting difficulty...

It's released like 40 min ago and till now there are 27 blocks generated

And the diff is 0.025 at this point, but keep in mind it adjust very quickly

28 blocks and the diff has jumped to 0.103688

Can all these new coins really co-exist and have value?  I'm only asking because I'm confused about where to focus my attention.  I started recently with bitcoins (though shouldn't make that plural because I still haven't got a whole one - just a fraction of a minuscule piece of one!) then I looked at feathercoins, ripple, devcoins and litecoins.  I've read about at least half a dozen other alt-coins and really don't know if any, or all, of them are worthwhile pursuing.  Now there are Bestcoins - are they going to be best or will they eventually vanish into obscurity? Any thoughts?

There are far too many coins... most of them will vanish.

Only those that are already well established (Litecoin, Namecoin) or offer true innovation have a chance to survive.

I don't see any innovation in Bestcoin. If it's a premine than it is a deadborn for sure.
