I've looked up so many exchange reviews and all of them so far have inconsistencies.   They seem to have negative reviews.  Accounts getting frozen for no reason.  Transactions never being deposited.  Withdrawal issues (the scariest and had the most complaints.)  Etc..

Is there a trustworthy consistent exchange out there?

I would check out Binance. They have a great selection of altcoins as well as the main ones obviously. If you're more into the main crypto's (Litecoin, Bitcoin, ETH) then I would stick to GDAX. GDAX is super easy to use and low fees as well.

Im very happy for binance and Kucoin. NO need for KYC and you can trade right away. Been using binance for 1 month now and its very fast and good prices and low fees.

Looks like a herd of Binance shills vouching for and advertising that exchange. Then there's an aggressive Binance shill who goes on ultra defensive mode when someone vouches for Bitstamp.

Whatever choice one makes, always do your due diligence and never rely on the suggestions of newbie shills alone. Exchanges love to lock funds and block accounts so be careful when deciding where to trade your coins. Always keep in mind that exchanges own and control the private keys of their customers' accounts. The bitcoins are never really yours while they are within and on their system. It's only when the coins finally appear on your own non-exchange wallet that you can really call them yours.

Never store coins on exchange accounts. Trade in increments to minimize exchange-perpetrated insider scams and theft.

I started trading at Poloniex but after a few years and a few unresolved issues, I moved to Bittrex, but after a few months of negative feedbacks and reviews I am planning to move to Binance. They have good reviews from current users. I still trade in Poloniex from time to time. Bittrex has been my main exchange but their verification process is bugging me everyday. If you have no account with any of those 3 I mentioned, I suggest you start with Binance to skip the verification troubles.

Why do you use exchange websites? You can buy crypto directly from most reputable companies...

I do believe negative feedbacks cant really be avoided even how reputable on those exchangers could be because there would be instances that problems would really arise and as being said inconsistencies is there but its up to you if you can handle it specially on these days but if you do really like not to experience hassle or doubts on your mind then skip poloniex or bittrex. Same suggestion on here which better to try out binance.
