I don't think bitcoin are first made with the intention other than for wealth, anything money related especially money itself will be hard to be free from greed, greed is just human most basic nature after survival, the only problem is when that greed take too much.

this is such a 2017 way of thinking not 2008 when bitcoin was created.
back when Satoshi created bitcoin, it was purely an experiment to see if a decentralized cash can work. for a very long time it was worth literary nothing. you couldn't even convince another person to give you any goods for 100,000 bitcoins! that guy who bought 2 pizzas had to search for someone who were interested in bitcoin to do the trade.

there is no late in something to be part of that team. so i think whoever have even some money to invest he/she can chose the bitcoins to chose. but if someone is wise he/she can invest in some good and some good potential alts. because alts can give you back more bitcoins. this crypto world is full of trading and only wise can be successful .. better when you joined the crypto first have some knowledge about alts and more specially how to use exchanges. and most importantly most people think its a risk and i will only answer them that is LIFE IS FULL OF RISKS.

Well, people hate what they are afraid of. They are afraid that bitcoin will continue to increase its price and they would continue to be living the way they are living their life while some of their friends are already enjoying the profits that they are getting from bitcoin by working last year to get some. You are a little late when you are just about to start earning bitcoins now because it has skyrocketed already but you are not too late.

In psychology, when someone succeeds in something that you don't care about, it's alright. For example, if your friend is succeeding in photography and you are into singing, you don't really care. But when your friend is succeeding in singing and singing is your thing, it's really hard to not to feel envious about it because they are outshining you. This is very hard especially when you're working on it for a really long time and then someone comes along and just made it to the point that you've never been to before.

The thing, though, everyone wants to become successful financially and bitcoin users just went ahead of almost everyone. Another thing is that it's the millennials or the "kids" that has been earning a lot from bitcoin because they are the most tech savvy of all and the previous generation is pretty mad about that.

This can be one big reason why we have seen attacks against Bitcoin lately. Though there are some truths on what they saying against Bitcoin, they have their own agenda for doing it and that agenda can be dangerous. I have no problem with people who are promoting their own preferred cryptocurrency because certainly we are living in a democratic space where stiff and fierce competition cab be a big reality but when I see one destroying one thing just promote another it makes me squirm in disgrace. That is not acceptable because we are just in one boat -- cryptocurrency. The market is so big so much so that we have new players entering the market from time to time.
