Wow... he gave up a job at Google to go with coinbase... they must have offered him a hell of a hiring package! It's hard to beat working for Google from what I've heard.

I was at Google for almost 6 years. I figured it was time to change it up. You're right, it's hard to beat a job at Google, but Coinbase is a great company and I get to work on Bitcoin (Litecoin?) full time.

Well that's awesome... both your previous place of employment and current! I'm in IT as well... happy with my current position, but there's still way cooler jobs out there that I'm working up to. Good luck with the new gig!

Not trying to start an unfounded rumor or anything that would potentially cause LTC to rapidly spike, but am I the only one that can clearly see that by the way Coblee placed "litecoin" in parenthesis that he was actually saying "(Litecoin will be on Coinbase mid-late September?)

Anyone else see that?

I'm sure LTC will get integrated soon enough, and I'm also pretty sure coblee won't say more than he can about it. I like coinbase for transferring fiat to/from BTC better than any other exchange I've found, it seems like they do things right and run a good, legit business. I look forward to seeing what's in store for them.

I like Coinbase also, I've used them in the past and always considered them a cut above any other BTC related business.

Now that Coblee is there, that cements their reputation as solid as far as I'm concerned. Coblee is a smart guy that cares about his reputation, I highly doubt he would go from Google to Coinbase unless it was also rock solid.

I hope Coinbase never adds Litecoin. It would tarnish Bitcoin's image.

It would also tarnish the image of Coinbase. They're a first rate establishment, no need to have bottom-feeders in their stable.
