I've personally used EXMO a few times in the recent past, though only for transactions of up to 0.2 BTC, not ~1 BTC. I too have had an issue with their extremely slow withdraw times, and it really puts you to the edge of your seat, however it all turned out well.

The second time I had to contact support because I started to get paranoid after 4 hours of waiting for the withdraw to be sent out, however their support turned out to be unresponsive and useless.

Would it be possible to cancel the withdraw and maybe withdraw in smaller increments?

no. you can't cancel withdraw when its status "verifying"

i'm waiting from 22 december. This link said that he kidnapped 26 december. During 4 days what did he do? so the news is fake. i think they are only scam and they found a way that we will not ask where is our money. Also i hope he kidnapped because if he is not i will ask my money with my way.

Oh shit, is this true?

It would seem to be fake though there are other sites that are also reporting this news. I hope he himself and the exchange will be safe, though it may just be an attempt to turn the exchange into a scam. Owner gets kidnapped, no-one knows where he is & the exchange turns into a scam and the owner can't take any responsibility.

However, I am probably wrong (I certainly hope so)

Once again, keep contacting them with via the online chat and don't be polite, rather angry. Hopefully then they will take appropriate action.
