It does no matter for good cause or bad cause because what matter is bitcoin are not made for bad cause, if thare some peoples who use bitcoin for bad cause then it is not the blame for bitcoin, just like peoples who make and sell knife where knife can be used in the kitchen or can be used to hurt peoples.
I'm now using bitcoin to gather funds to advance the movement I'm on.
I think nowadays BTC is very traceable and if someone want's to know were these BTC came from and who ended up with them, unless mixers are used... theres is always an option as not so secret. |

I think nowadays BTC is very traceable and if someone want's to know were these BTC came from and who ended up with them, unless mixers are used... theres is always an option as not so secret. If you use the factor of being "careless" then even the most safe method will become risky, so far only bitcoin is the method with full secrecy if you know how to handle them. |

It's so true, that good depended on who uses it, I also use bitcoin for my financial freedom, and I always think good about bitcoin.
Yes, bitcoin never made with the intention for evil cause and that is what important, peoples who use bitcoin for crimes are only staining bitcoin. |

yes, I agree with you, today I use bitcoin for things that benefit me, my family, and others people. I want to help others, and make them happy. bitcoin will be good when the user is channeled for good, not for crime.

One of the first impression when bitcoin was introduced is it is anonymous so people who are sending and receiving bitcoin are aware that you can do whatever with your bitcoin. Whether you'll use that for good or for bad but now there are some other privacy coins that are used for bad cause like monero and now bitcoin has been used mostly as an investment and store value and mainly as a digital currency. |

What irritates me is the false message you are sending people regarding the security and anonimity they can expect using Bitcoin. bad information can be very damaging. Well for me bitcoin is the most safe and secure payment method and just keep being mad about the anti western cosplayers movement especially when some Asians start to take part on the movement, I wonder what your reaction will be when you see the current balance for the anti western cosplayers movement have reach much more than your own bitcoin, mwahahaha |

Bitcoin transactions aren't completely safe, etc - they can be traced and whatnot. However, they are a lot more secure than payments through things such as PayPal, for example, and to the average user, Bitcoin is pretty much anonymous.
As for how it can be used harmfully - unfortunately that's how things just work out with this type of technology - to fund something in full secemret or whatever. Things are being done to stop illegal activity and Bitcoin, with an example being laws being passed in Australia to make it harder for things such as money laundering to happen with Bitcoin (don't remember the specifics, a quick google search away).
In the end, it's inevitable that tech such as Bitcoin is going to be used for bad, and it's best we just accept it.

In fact, most of the time, illegal activities now rarely use COINS to transfer, because the people know more and more, and they know it is not anonymous, so they will not do so, they will choose some anonymous money to implement.

And would you care to tell us what specifically are you referring to with your so-called movement? While I agree with you when you say that Bitcoin is not actually invented for illegal or unlawful activities, it would do good if Bitcoin is used for lawful activities. Bitcoin is being seen by others as a deepweb currency, a digital currency for the people living their lives underground. And most of these people are evading the law. It does not help spreading the word of Bitcoin properly. |

That's true. That's pretty much one of the most likeable characteristics of bitcoins or cryptocurrencies in general, it's secrecy with the transactions one can make. Also, the privacy it offers are not limited to those who have big holdings but also to those who are just starters. It's actually a good thing that there is such factor because it helps the market trends improve that is helpful for everyone without having the big holders to control it because they can bully the little people so to speak. |
