Why is bch treated as a joke?

a joke?probably not at all. althou they have the same team as BTC, it doesn't mean it's piece of junk.  it only means they just trying to do more business with a brand new coin.  and hey, with the brand new marketing style they're quite succeed now, aren't they? there'll be a lot more movement from this coin, and trading volume's also good. so, I think it's not a joke at all.

no one treat bch as a joke, if you treat the top3 market cap coin as a joke, then you maybe a joker, bitcoin has too many problems, i am glad to see some coin which can resolve the problems on some scale

Its not just a random hard fork, the same devs are behind it. It carries the name on a official manner like that.

I don’t know anyone who treat Bitcoin Cash as funny unserious thing. Telling the truth when it was airdropped, at the beginning of its development I had thought about this coins like just about clones. But not now.

Actually the devs brought it as a competitor to the bitcoin and thats the reason bitcoin fans dont like it that much,

It's because of what they are doing, everybody don't like their plan and goal of taking over bitcoin. And what's funny is that they are calling bitcoin as bitcoin core and they want bitcoin cash as 'bitcoin'. Isn't that a joke? They are looking for their fork coin as something that's original which is just a copy cat of the real thing. They are getting much hate from the community and we can't blame the people for having that judgement on them.

Agree, the best joke is they self-claiming their own Bitcoin Cash as the real bitcoin, and think Bitcoin as Bitcoin Core. Actually, I don't understand, they think Bitcoin is now different with Bitcoin whitepaper, while they are forking a new one and abandoned the real Bitcoin who built by Satoshi Nakamoto.

Ver is one of the pioneer investors in bitcoin and has been an avid supporter of bitcoin before but after his first attempt with Bitcoin Unlimited that no one did really bought into his idea now he's starting another round of attempt with bitcoin cash.
Bitcoin cash's is just a fork coin and most of us treating it as an altcoin no other than that.

Well bch attempted to overturn bitcoin. Its not impossible to do thst but claiming to be better than biycoin is just fsr too much. And ver telling the world that bch is bitcoin is just too much of a ponzi scheme. Its not gonna gain respect over existing investors.

Because it is nothing more than just a fork of Bitcoin with no added functionalities but just the block size increased. Also it is being promoted in a shady way by people like Roger Ver who are calling it Bitcoin itself when clearly it isn't that but just an altcoin. Also only one Bitcoin can survive and the community has chosen the one they want and it isn't Bitcoin cash.
