Creating a Wallet(for dummies)

Hey everyone, I tried searching the site to see if there's a "creating a wallet for dummies" kind of thing but I don't see anything. From what I've read I'll probably need multiple wallets because I plan on mining different cryptos. I'm hoping to get a few links to some guides of creating and what people's personal preference of wallets they like. Thanks in advance!

If you by creating mean "coding", i really wouldn't advise you doing that.

For bitcoin there's plenty of good software wallets, but my favorite is Electrum, see https://electrum.org/#home

For multiple currencies i would either advise you to use the one they recommend you to use, which is displayed on their website etc, or use a multiwallet such as https://www.exodus.io/ for example.

For dummy thing, you can use mobile application like freewallet or desktop offline wallet such as Jaxx, Exodus

Yo, while making paper wallets via Linux I accidentally put screenshots of them on my USB that had linux on it. I didnt know I was saving them on USB, and later when I was finished, and booted windows, and when I went to format USB (I needed it, its the only one near me now) , I saw screenshots there. I instantly deleted them and wiped Recycle bin. Windows was of course automatically connected on internet on startup.. For those wondering about screenshots, I used them to enlarge the wallets to I can print them better.
Are the wallets compromised or? I read about they kinda are the moment they are on OS that is connected to internet......

Jaxx looks pretty good starting out but doing a little google research it doesn't look the most secure but secure enough. Thanks for the suggestions.

no need to have multiple wallet, the wallet i am using can save all crypt currencies or the majority of them it called coinbase it kinda good and easy to use i will put u a link for the website

It seems like there's endless knowledge really about anything involving Crypto, but I actually went with Coinomi as my first wallet test run. Thanks again everyone.
