Hello there,

do you think Bitcoin is a bubble and if yes, will it burst soon? The technical disadvantages of BTC are grave and only disadvantageous for the whole altcoin market .. but if Bitcoin plumps, will altcoins, too?

During the last weeks the BTC dominance of the market decreased steadily and also the media and investors now know the advantages of many altcoins (esp. in the top 20).

Will the belief in altcoin advantages prevent the bubble from bursting? Or will everything go down when BTC decreases?

What do you think?

There's so many factors that play into this it's nearly impossible to accurately predict, but fun nonetheless. I don't really believe this is a bubble. We've seen BTC fluctuate tremendously before and then it always corrects accordingly. One thing BTC has going for it is its ability to somehow always seem to recover.

Now, when it comes to altcoins I look at it kind of like the wild west. Anything can happen with altcoins. If BTC were to plunge I do believe it would bring the altcoin market, but they would recover on their own showing more of their own unique advantages as they did. I don't believe altcoins alone could stop the bitcoin bubble from bursting. It could very well eventually shift the power to one of the altcoins in the top 10.

I do not think anything is bubble here. If it would have being by now btc would have fallen below 1000$ or so. But it did not happen and may not happen . Also if say market goes for correction so yes even altcoin will fall under that scenario baring few good coins whose value is very cheap today may move little upwards or so.

I do not think that btc will be dead anytime soon but if it does go severely down then yes the altcoin market will also be effected badly, but that will be a great time to buy them as bch or eth will replace btc then.

I don't think that Bitcoin is a bubble. I think it's only a start of BTC and we might see a lot higher price for BTC and also other Alt Coins. As now in the market has came in many big investors and i think it will only increase by time and the price will increase even more.

I don't suppose that BTC is a bubble. Many useless altcoins which gathered a lot of money during ICOs for nothing and huge amount of pumps and dumps are the real problem. They could be the cause of a huge crypto "depression" in a year or two for sure.

Wait and watch the bitcoin price from tommorrow, you will find the bitcoin price dumped in the market around 10 percent on today as well. Once segwit2x is completed today we can expect the perfect in the bitcoin. As I think we will find the bitcoin price is around 20k USd or even more than the value I said here. But the people whoever holding the bitcoin will be profitable than altcoin investors. Then the people invested on the different types alts will turns back to the bitcoin again so demand also will increase.

That bubble thing in bitcoin is always present everytime bitcoin price was pumping. How come this bubble doesn't popped out? Meaning there is no bubble.

Decreased of dominance of BTC during the past days can't just be based because of the last weeks drop. Just imagine how well the bitcoin price performed this year. We entered 2017 at $1,000 so I think current bitcoin price is already a good reward.

Alts are tied to bitcoin to a certain extent until now, and as far as I see, pretty much every altcoin falls (except ripple) when btc starts to fall. As such, bitcoin's failure would mean that alts would fail as well; or even if they don't fail they will need a lot of time to recover.

All coins are under the correction right now, not just Bitcoin. We will have to see what the last few days of the year hold for coin market. Hopefully they start rising soon so that we can make some profits before the end of 2017, and begin the new year on a high.

I think there is no to the point of the bubble, because the COINS will be recognised by the various countries, and there are many countries start to buy COINS, now the price is reasonable, if continue to rise next more than 10 times, so the rise is not reasonable, is a bubble.

Many people will say that bitcoin does not have any bubble when it goes up, but when it falls, it is doubtful that the bitcoin bubble has burst. At present, there is a certain bubble in bitcoin.
