Hello. Are chances to win a jackpot the same at all rounds? I think that pre-ICO participants should have slightly higher chances than the others.

Are participants that receive lots in jackpot round determined by chance, or is my chance to win depends on the amount of tokens that I’ve bought?

Good afternoon. Why is the price of a token not rounded to tens? It looks really strange.

Would suggest you check Chinese numerology

Like in POS: even holding one coin can make you win a jackpot. But the likelihood of you winning obviously increases with the number of tokens you have as well as their factors. Think of it as a lottery ticket.

We will publish the description in the coming days.

Same answer as above: we will soon publish the details of our technical implementation.
Of course, the pre-sale participants are rewarded more: on average they get larger factors and participate in all four jackpot rounds.

Good afternoon. How many days is it left before the start of the ICO
If i have calculated it correctly, a little less than two weeks.

interestingly there is an online gambling project themed on developing and running a distributed casino application. Sp8de is designed to fit the needs of all actors that comprise an online casino landscape.

thanks for quoting, my man, I also like this passage

Why is it impossible to use Spade itself to generate random numbers? Why should u use another additional protocol?

Saves loads of development efforts, greatly increases the security and yet another million reasons why hasn't every 15-year-old geeky programmer forked Cardano already.
Check what Adam Smith was saying about specialization

Hello. Is jackpot given to everyone who bought tokens in a separate round of sales, no matter how many tokens were bought?

Cheesy It would have been cool had it been like this, right?

hello, team! i have a couple of questions! how are you going to gain profit from your project?
and is anybody going to be able to place his gambling game on your platform?

Check the thread before asking something that has been answered on multiple occasions before, bro.
Respect the time of others.

How much of the budget of the platform are u planning to spend on marketing? I believe that this is smth that definitely not worth saving.

sure thing, my man. See the token allocation.
Currently, we are planning around 10-20% of the proceeds to be channeled to marketing over the first year.

a very interesting project and I will anticipate the progress of the project and hope that this project will hold a bounty so people will know that this project is very promising
Please send me information about bounty program
Thanks

My man, the bounty is opened for more than a week already.

Good afternoon. Why is it so important to generate random numbers on-chain? There’s a lot of third party applications.

Why is it so important to use bitcoin for transferring funds if you can use VISA?

Check the WP: it's all about single points of failure.

Hi there. Does it turn out that anyone can create his own online casino with the help of the Ouroboros protocol and start making profit on it?
Theoretically, you’re right, but you’re unlikely to be able to implement such a project alone. U know, it isn’t as simple as it seems to be at first glance.
Once upon a time i planned to create my own casino, so I have a kind of a prototype already. However, it still needs to be finalized and I'm looking for a “heart” for it.
In that case, u have come to the right place. Ouroboros offers a unique set of tools for creating and maintaining a decentralized online casino.
Oh, thanks for reminding me. I’d also like to learn whether this protocol is compatible with off-chain solutions? When i was starting to create a prototype of my casino, almost nobody knew about blockchain.

It is. In fact, the compatibility is one of the major pillars of Cardano.

Theoretically: have a protocol exchange participant at least virtual opportunity to affect the procedure of determination of a random number?

The theoretical malicious majority has all the means to do so.
The assumption is that the majority is honest.

What procedures does your protocol carry out to generate random numbers? Was it already used in any other apps?

The generation of the random numbers themselves can be done using any PRG. The point is that after these values are generated, they are combined using the commitments scheme. After this, when opened, the combination of the random numbers will give you a random number that cannot be manipulated by anyone involved (once again, assuming the honest majority).
The delivery is assured using the PVSS. You can check all this in our WP.

Why did you decide to choose Plutus as a programming language? In my opinion, Solidity is a more suitable option
The team members have announced repeatedly that they’re very experienced in Solidity so they decided that it will restrain the development of the platform.
How will it restrain the development? It’s one of the most appropriate for programming language for blokchain technologies. Many will agree with me.
The main disadvantage of Solidity is that speed of protocol’s operation can reduce significantly ‘cause of scaling, it’s unacceptable for gambling.
I got it. The reason is really strong. Does Cardano protocol which will serve as a basis of the platform also use this programming language?

Of course not. Otherwise, what would be the point of all of this discussion:)
It's Haskell-based.

Hey. Can messages from protocol exchange be read by the final receivers? I hope no, in other case it would damage the transparency.

m.. Clarify what do you mean, please.

Yes, you will be. I know a guy who wrote the entire backend for one of the large exchanges. Alone. Simple roulette is a joke when you think of it.
