Hi there. I don’t really understand how did you manage to turn a really predictable POS protocol into the system which really generates random numbers.
It became possible due to Follow-The-Satoshi procedure which is the core of  Ouroboros protocol that is used on this platform.
How does this wonderful protocol work? Can you describe the principles of its operation?
No problem! First a random smallest unit of the system is being chosen – Satoshi – it has its own serial number. The protocol determines who owns this Satoshi and this user receives the right to create a block.

This system is really not bad. Consequently, the more Satoshi the miners have, the higher the possibility that this user will get an opportunity to launch the block is, right?

Good afternoon. Why is it so important to generate random numbers on-chain? There’s a lot of third party applications.

Theoretically: have a protocol exchange participant at least virtual opportunity to affect the procedure of determination of a random number?

What procedures does your protocol carry out to generate random numbers? Was it already used in any other apps?

Hey. Can messages from protocol exchange be read by the final receivers? I hope no, in other case it would damage the transparency.

Hi there. Does it turn out that anyone can create his own online casino with the help of the Ouroboros protocol and start making profit on it?

Theoretically, you’re right, but you’re unlikely to be able to implement such a project alone. U know, it isn’t as simple as it seems to be at first glance.

Once upon a time i planned to create my own casino, so I have a kind of a prototype already. However, it still needs to be finalized and I'm looking for a “heart” for it.

In that case, u have come to the right place. Ouroboros offers a unique set of tools for creating and maintaining a decentralized online casino.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. I’d also like to learn whether this protocol is compatible with off-chain solutions? When i was starting to create a prototype of my casino, almost nobody knew about blockchain.

Why is it impossible to use Spade itself to generate random numbers? Why should u use another additional protocol?

It ends on February 7, but judging by the pace of sales, one shouldn’t exclude the possibility of early achievement of the hard-cap.

interestingly there is an online gambling project themed on developing and running a distributed casino application. Sp8de is designed to fit the needs of all actors that comprise an online casino landscape.
