I'd like to hear your opinion related to porn coins, especially in SpankChain. I've invested some money in it and now hoping it was not a overhasty choice.

In general I think that porn is dominating the internet since it's beginning. Theres just so much money in it. Why should that money not come to the cryptos?

Also the project looks very promising and solid. Nice whitepaper as far as I can say this as a complete noob.

I'm not really sure why an additional token is needed for that scenerio they are planning but maybe someone from you can tell me whether it is justified!?

What I also like is that they have already contacts to the scene with two famous perfomers in their team. They plan something like a own cam side and a marketplace where videos can be sold.

As an advantage I also see that they're only traded on two small exchanges which could give a nice first come first served price for early investors.


So guys let me know what do you think about this project. Any thoughts are welcome.

Is this a joke? Who the hell is going to buy a porn coin? Maybe you are right, but i do not think that it has some chances to be a good one.

I think these coins/projects need some big names in the game in order for people to be interested.

They are the type of projects that the crypto community largely does not care about, for good reason. But that doesn't mean their time won't come. Maybe 2019 will be big for the porn coins haha

Yeah this is what I think too. But if it gets used for what it is designed, the price will increase automatically or not? People will buy it to watch cam models in the internet. If the website will get popular they could have a big demand on their coins. So it could not just be for speculation like 99% of all coins get bought for speculation, but this one gets bought to get used. And the webcam porn business is in fact a big million dollar market. A lot of people pay girls for doing live what ever their wishes are.

But still I think that there's a big hurdle for all the users to use that crypto money if they just want to wank a bit and not be on mind with that technical stuff. So the difficulty could be to make that whole payment process as easy as it could get.

crypto for cams is interesting, because adult is burdened with high processing fees
looking at Spankchain, it seems they plan to use a secondary token called "Booty" to use on their cam platform, so I guess you exchange your Spanks or fiat for Booty, so prices don't fluctuate too much, I guess

In theory, porn coin should work perfectly. Imagine lots of people who pay to adult sites or webcams would not want to see that payment on their credit card bills, so paying crypto would be a perfect solution.

But its very low cap now. Probably there should be bigger better develoments in scenery.

Well you never know with crypto. I know there have been many porn coins and adult industry ICOs, none have yet been successful, but sometimes in crypto it takes years for a fad to take place. Look at DAG coins now after two years then everyone is talking about them. And see how long it took for Monero to gain popularity and now anonymous coins are also trendy. I am sure the niche coins like marijuana coins and adult coins will soon have their day, if you are patient enough.

People will always be interested in this as well as gambling. This coin is based on human base passions. Each investor himself decides in which project to participate, and in which there is not. I will never support porn, drugs and weapons, even if they promise me big money. Therefore, I pass this project.

SpankChain has gone up 10x since I first saw it back in late December. Porn is usually at the forefront of new technology, and helps to make it popular among the masses.

I saw it and knew it was going to skyrocket after checking out the concept, team, and supporting performers. Even now, it's a great buy. The biggest thing that for me was that it has huge potential for wider adoption in the adult industry, based on its much higher payout percentages to performers and the fact that it already has popular porn celebs on its team.
