I think most people would have the same reply because they use the same e-wallet. I, too, use myetherwallet as my main storage medium for bitcoin, altcoin, and tokens alike which is fairly protection and encrypted. It has a lot of safeguards to protect your holding, but you should also keep in mind that you must have your means of protecting your wallet by storing your wallet address in something that is not connected online for it not to be susceptible to any hacking or the like.

Based on my own personal experience, I could easily recommended using myetherwallet. Although its an online web application that sends data online, it seems to be 100% safe for both your ETH and tokens. Just make sure that you are really on the myetherwallet website. There are now many scam websites out there like "myethermallet.com." To make sure you are on the correct website, just take a look at the browser's address bar. It should have an SLL icon or a lock sign and should clearly say "myetherwallet.com"

You need no balance to receive tokens (transaction fees are paid by senders). However, some airdrops require receiving address to have some minimum balance (like 0.1 or 0.01 ETH) to discourage claiming tokens to multiple accounts.

most airdrop and bounty tokens are based on ERC20, so myetherwallet is the best wallet in my opinion.

MyEtherWallet (MEW) - as others have already pointed out - is probably the best solution here.
Please keep in mind there are tokens that are not ERC20-based, so you might have to create a different wallet for that first.
However, I'd say about 95% of all bounties are ERC20 tokens so with MEW you should do just fine.

P.S. I'd recommend transferring a small amount of ETH (around 0.50$ should be enough) to the MEW account you will be using for the bounties,
as many will decline bounty payout if your total balance is 0.

If you generate one from etherdelta and you have acccess to the private key,then is cool. But their security is vulnerable considering their recent phishing on the website. I think you need to use Myetherwallet for your transactions.

It is not 100% safe myetherwallet had some glitch few days or months ago. Check legal section. There are some news regarding to mew.
