Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Honestly, I don't think they are trying to run away with all user's funds INR or Crypto.. They ve only recently got a huge angel investment so I don't see a reason that they will take everything and run. There are some issues with the site itself other than withdrawal.. I had a tough time signing in.. I hope they get everything working asap and as with all the stuff happening in the crypto world as far as i ve seen, it is essential to keep your funds safe, so I have moved everything to my personal wallet.

Maybe they are not trying to run away we would only know in the coming days. But still charging 2.36% per transaction is NOT acceptable.

Now traders are unable to login including me Check their face book page lot of traders are complaining. so if you have your assets with them just prey that they should not run away.

So u r saying funded companies dont run away? Get a life man. Whichever way u look at it 2% + charges for NEFT - is daylight robbery.

I think we should give them little time as it was not their fault, partnered banks started charging suddenly and no one would give from their pocket, right?

Hello Everyone

This is to inform everyone according to current INR withdrawal halt from Koinex its an indication that they are going to run away but they still claim that they are leader in digital assets trading in India,  They played very smart by offering very less fees instant deposits and withdrawals but now they have very good volume to run away or force high fees on users.

They mentioned INR Withdrawals will be resumed at 30-12-2017 but they always lied everyday they changed the date to next day , But now on their Facebook page they have mentioned  INR withdrawals are halted until further notice as communicated by our payments partner.

HENCE I SUGGEST EVERYONE TO WITHDRAW THE CRYPTO ASSETS AND BE SAFE BEFORE THEY HALT THE CRYPTO WITHDRAWALS AS WELL.

Haha..Dude..Seriously, You don't give a rebuttal on internet saying I have mined ~4K bitcoins. You'll soon have hackers to defend from. How many did you sell off at 12$ then??
Anyways, none of my business. Just saw your profile and wanted to say that please use SegWit wallet. That way you help the network and your BTC has a better chance of growing in value.
Here's a link to make a backward compatible segwit wallet with Electrum:

I've been having problems with koinex since november. Their customer support is the worst. I mean the grocery store near my house has a better response when it comes to replying to customer support. Leave it before it's too late.

Yes People creating some fake FUDs. Koinex have given quite a decent reply by enabling INR withdrawals. I still think its the leading digital asset exchange of India. If you leave aside the mobile app advantage with Zebpay. Koinex enjoys monopoly in all other aspects. Its even the largest exchange for trade of XRP in India even gone to top 20 in XRP trade all around the world. I have quite too much hopes from Koinex it can be among the big bits of the world representing INR trades but what I think is they should also come up with BTC to alts trading pairs.

There is nothing wrong with KOINEX. It is just a rumour about KOINEX, they will soon start Crypto-INR withdrawal.
Koinex is the only exchange in India which provides an opportunity to buy/sell various altcoins with FIAT(INR). It is operating from quite long time so has earned a good reputation in the market. Even Zebpay has also halted withdrawals for some time in past. So I think there is nothing to fear.

I would suggest you instead of Koinex use Coindelta , much faster and smoother . They verified me within 30 min and withdrawal so far i am seeing always within 3 - 4 hours during Banking hours only . Quite a nice experience so far with Coindelta over a week now . Koinex also paying but they slow , withdrawal take around 2 - 3 working days to hit bank .

Withdrawals are enabled again.
https://twitter.com/koinexindia/status/958345734272598016

I have been using koinex for months now, before December the withdrawals and deposits were very smooth.I never had any problem.
But after the incoming of large numbers of neophytes, and the pressure from RBI to keep KYC records made them slow.

I agree that they have a very bad support, but I don't see any chance of getting scammed by them.Even if withdrawals are stuck sometimes, you can still withdraw your cryptos(and they are instant).
And they offer true price of each coin, unlike other shitty exchanges.I will always prefer koinex over them!

Well everything is ok for me also but only thing i noticed that INR withdrawal very slow , it almost took 3 business days to hit bank which is considerably slow than any other Indian exchange and during this volatile marked most people like faster withdrawal for their regular trading which Coindelta maintains so far . Always within 3 to 4 hours max during banking hours . Zebpay also come fast but time varies sometime within 1 - 2 hour and sometime a working day .

They decided to charge 2.36% for all INR withdrawals. This is totally not acceptable a NEFT transaction is just 5-10 rs on most banks.

They are either having liquidity issues or are trying to run away or are trying to rip people off since they already have a very high volume.
Take a hint. It is too late for everyone from India. Most of the crypto vendors in India are simply ripping off customers in a broad day light. Note that some exchanges/vendors are good and legit for now. Most of the vendors providing services in crypto field are facing heat from the policies as well.

Probably its zero now.Since they are charging a fees on every trade.Which is different for buyers and sellers.

But yeah, they have't mentioned anything on the fees page.So we can only assume it to be zero unless someone who has traded recently can guide us.I did a few trades before February, when it used to be 2%.Although, it was mentioned on the website.

Hmm...  that is some outrageous fee if true. Can prasanthsd confirm if this is still the case? I opened an account there but haven't traded yet.
