Not sure about the best quantum resistant currency. Because basically all of the crypto already encrypted with SHA 256 that has quantum resistance if you don't know about what means of quantum resistant and it may better to read the more about that.
Quantum computer just use the method to degrade the algorithm and it doesn't even exist.

Elliptic curves could be broken with the Shor algorithm.

In QRL it is XMSS (eXtended Merkle Signature Scheme).

Yes I know what SHA256 is. And this hash should be quantum computer resistent!

I agree with you,we need quantum computer to crack the alogarithm of BTC which we dont have yet,maybe 10-20years.

I daresay if we will have quantum computer, there will be not much time passed when we will get quantum miners. I dont know the details of the most currencies' hashing algorythm, but think that such technology, such computer, can make much more good deeds instead of cracking bitcoin. It can bring the security of bitcoin on another level
