Hi, I would like to appeal to the Bitcointalk.org administrators if they will allow me to recover my hacked account using a signed message from my Ethereum address that is linked to my hacked account? Hoping for your kind consideration with regards to this matter. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Smiley
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It can and has been used before to verify ownership of an account before, but just as long as the evidence is clear and follows the guidelines set out in the sticky. You'll have to PM the admin's about it to get it restored but I wouldn't hold your breath for it to happen even if you had a bitcoin one staked.

Great! That was encouraging as I almost lost hope in recovering my hacked account. I will do PM the admins and hope my account will be recovered soon! Thank you for the information. Best regards. Smiley
