DAG makes iota different with classic blockchain based coin. Use direct transaction to make the fees decrease a lot or even reach zero fees for your transaction. it used the server rather than node to valitading and verying the transaction. DAG system makes all of the transaction become instantly.

I have heard many opinions for and against IOTA, for which I think it is one of the most controversial projects of today. The objections to the project revealed by MIT recently do not seem to have affected the spirits of investors and speculators at all, which is why I prefer to be quite cautious when investing something in this crypto.
