There are two opposite points of view on the question. What about you? are you in favor or against web neutrality, and why?

Web neutrality is a key principle that ensures that web service providers must provide unimpeded access to users for all types of content, as well as applications, regardless of their sources, and without any blocking. Therefore, it has a great advantage.

Who would be against it? The only people whose interest that serves is the companies giving you the internet. Would you willingly pay more to access the websites that you currently are accessing? Simple as that and nobody in their right mind would be on board for this change.

Pros-Websites such as blogs, services, and businesses that abide by the law are able to operate legally. As long as laws go unbroken, content will not be censored.
Cons-In this day and age, services like Skype are offering real-time video calls. Netflix offers high-definition video streaming. These services utilize massive amounts of data for free on an ISPs infrastructure.

Most users of network neutrality argue that large telecommunications companies are trying to illegally profit from their investments. Therefore, I believe that web neutrality is a bad idea.

That means Web neutrality is the fundamental right of anyone in the world but now the corporations of this world have shown that they don't care about our so called rights and am surprised that even after a lot of people spoke against this , they went ahead without a care about what the masses were saying at all.

Why don't you say guns - pros and cons. In the end everything has pros and cons. It just depends on how you use it.

That's what I don't get. The ppl who are against it say that it's not fair that big corporations like Netflix, eBay etc. pay the same amount as you do for using the same bandwidth while they use and store much more data. But who wanted to ban Web neutrality? I don't think that the government made that decision in the general interest. So is it only to serve the interest of Verizon and co. with the risk of turning other corps like Netflix and co. against it? Or to control us and our use of the internet better?
