In my opinion we can go probably even 10x if everything goes well in 2018. Pretty much the only thing that's stopping this rise in price is probably regulations or pretty much any negative news and or FUD. Hoping for the best though, still hoping that McAfee is right about bitcoin being $1,000,000 in 2020[1], even though it's quite a stretch to think that.

I think and believe that bitcoin price would increase its price in the market. I do believe that its amount would be greater than a million and it will continue to attract investors and users. 2018 would be the best year for us users. It is the best fime to hold and invest our bitcoins because bitcoin proce will surely increase.

We can indeed hope for a rise of the bitcoin value. However, this rise will be slowed down if transaction fees remain high, so I don't expect a sudden rise in January if bitcoin network is still congested.

As of now we are around $13,800 as of this writing i think in the first month we will easily double that amount. I think we may reach $35k -$40k at the end of the year.

I think the price is going to stay fairly stable until the first couple of weeks then all the fud will have blown over. Korea didn't actually ban anything and they are just adding normal requirements like real names need to be used.

The only reason that people are still using bitcoin is that it is widely acceptable as a currency. Bitcoin is growing slow, with expensive fees and on top of that it is not anonymous. Maybe soon it'll utilize some new technology to speed up transactions, hopefuly this will reduce the fees also. But still, it will be missing the crucial element of privacy.

When people realize that all bitcoin transactions are public, and soon governments will enforce tax, this will cause bitcoin to slowly lose its value. When that happens, coins that offer anonymity and privacy will start to grow faster.

Who knows?  NO ONE has reliably predicted BTC’s price action.

I will *guess* that BTC will be range-bound, or even take a further 25% drop, all perfectly normal.  Afterwards, my guess is $30,000 (end-year) with many hard bumps along the way.

I will look at some alts if I see any interesting technology that could I dimly understand.  Diversification!

we will probably see the downtime for an extended time and we are going to see a lot of struggle to break the resistance that is currently around $16000 apparently. this can continue on to early weeks of 2018 and as the holiday ends and people come back to their normal lives and start trading, price can start going up again.

although i am another thing to affect the price greatly. and that is the transaction fees. as it stays up it damages bitcoin in both short term and long term and prevents the rise. if things go back to normal i would expect the rise to start right after.

I think when new year is over the price of bitcoin will start increasing because people will have the money to spend now. Especially that the upcoming holiday is over and it will be back to reality where we need to earn money to regain what we lost in our expense during Christmas and Ne year. For me the price of bitcoin would 17,000 by tge mid of january 2018.
