Bitcoin has been like that historically. It is very volatile in nature. Several times, it was reported that it's dying. But, look at it now? They can't stop BTC from growing, as more and more countries and people are trusting it. It could still be a very good investment, in the next few years.

I agree, there will always be short term volatility in BTC, this is true in all cryptocurrencies as well. But long term price of BTC is definitely up, firstly due to its finite supply, secondly due to the proliferation of crypto funds, lastly it is being reported in mainstream media everytime the prices swing so more people know about it.

Nobody can answer that question. We can only go on historical data, where the Bitcoin price returned to previous record high prices after a correction, but nobody can tell you how long that will take. <In some cases it took more than a year>

Everyone was hoping it would fluctuates its price as the new year starts.I think whales have profit a lot at this moment of taking advantage on this special month.Bitcoin has a rapid growth those previous months and as this month ends price had goes dip.Hoping bitcoin would cope up next year and theres nothing impossible with crypto most especially bitcoin that has great potential in the market to recover these dip that we have right now.

       Nobody knows what will be the price of bitcoin this coming january 2018. Bitcoin price is so volatile and it is always depends on the law of demand and supply. But i think it will increase this january.

I am still optimistic that Bitcoin prices could experience a much better price increase in early 2018. Although currently the price of Bitcoin is experiencing a ngeative trend but an increase in price Can and allow to happen. I am sure because of the current use of Bitcoin has been increasing and this means it will make Bitcoin prices can rise much higher.

well the adoption is growing. this year alone we have had 2,085% rise so no matter how much it falls down it is still a huge rise for one year. and it is not falling down that much. the drop is still one of the normal corrections after a big rise.

we have a couple of things to look forward to: first the new year and end of holiday season which brings back all the fresh money to the market. then it is the scaling and end of huge backlog at the same time and later one the Lightning Network which is being developed and tested right now. with each of these big steps the price will rise like before.

Prices are always affected by market sentiment. If there are no big events, I think the price of bitcoin will rise slowly in 2018. If a big event or message, bitcoin will climb to 20K will only need a very short event.

We are a few days away from January 2018, but I still think it’s too early to state a significant rate Bitcoin will reach by then. What I am pretty sure of is that the holidays took a toll of the rates and somehow affected it resulting to lower rates when we need it the most. So it is likely that it would rise after the new year has passed. Hopefully by late January we would be seeing an increase in its rate and not a decline as it is starting to worry some users; but I am hopeful that things would go well sooner. Just keep your faith towards Bitcoin as it always comes through.

I think BTC price will grow rapidly. It's already were so many pumps, especcially XRP, so it's a very big possibility that the next one will be Bitcoin like it was when BCH was pumped. That's the calm before the storm. Re-bought is done.

Answer to this can only be speculations and there can never be any certainty to any view or prediction of anyone.
Although the market is quite confusing at the moment, so not sure what to expect next.

Only the big insiders and whales know what will happen to Bitcoin in 2018. Maybe they are saying it will go to 50k USD in order to get everyone to buy in then do a massive dump. Like they did right now when it went to 20k and now has dumped to almost half the price and is still declining both in volume and price. There will probably be more FUD now to crash the price under 10k USD support line so the whales can scoop it up cheap again for the next rally.

Yes it can be possible because it has power to do so and jump to that price within a month and predictions indicate that so but we cant be 100% accurate in this feild because its too volatile and prices are not controlled by anyone so see what happens this year.Great hopes by the hodlers.

I hope in 2018 The Bitcoins will $35000 and in my opinion,  many people in my country just know about Bitcoins so i think it isnt only in my country and demand will increase

My guess is that it will drop in price but we'll never truly know unless its january. Bitcoin's price is unpredictable so there isnt any facts and evidences that will support my suspicion that it will drop in price. Its just a hunch. Lets just focus on the present and grab any opportunity that comes ahead. Buy bitcoins while its low on price and sell it while its price is high.
