BTC in 2018 january

In 2017 september btc price under 3000$.However it jumped to 18000$ in the begining of this month and now it around 13000$.Will it jump back to 18000$ or more in 2018 january

Although bitcoin is decreased its price today, it is not as bad at all. January 2018 is a good start for a newbie like me to invest to it and I think bitcoin users will be happy for the upcoming year.

For me, this upcoming January it will go higher than it's previous peak. Although We wont really know when or will it really happen? but bitcoin will continue to increase its value due to the trust it gain from the society and it is started being accepted in some companies. Just hoping that transaction fees and transaction speed will be fixed sooner.

In my opinion I think yes bitcoin is continuesly increasing there value and the development is continues progressive. 2018 bitcoin more investor want to join in bitcoin and more profit will gain.

The year might end with less than 13k it seems. It has dropped to 12700$ now and may be more fall could happen considering the people will be out for couple of days and might even sell some to part for the New Year. May be 2018 we could see firstly crossing 20k and then 30k for 2018.

Usually when the price goes up so fast it take some time to stabilize, I think january will be just for stabilization of Bitcoin, no major growth or anything.

We cant predict the bitcoin price but im hoping this january 2018 will be back at 18k$
Because too many people cash out there bitcoin because they spend it in christmas or new year that why many bitcoins has been cashed out and the effect is the decrease price of bitcoin how ever in next year it will be back because many people will buy bitcoin because they want to hold bitcoin again.

BTC price will go down and will 10K if they do not fix the high transaction fees. There are over 178K unconfirmed transactions on Bitcoin. I dont think we will see 18K in the near future.

It is stable now, but i think we will see increase in price in upcoming month.

I was hoping that bitcoin will  reach $20k this month but it didn't happened because a price correction occurred.So i'm giving again my best hope for next mont that it will totally reach $20k finally.I think that's really possible because once the price dumps,next to it is pumping of its price.And hopefully it will continue to grow its price to the moon.

Maybe the price of dec $13000 will increase in the first week of JAN will back $18000 and jump to $25000. It will good news to the people have transaction, trading and etc. bitcoinwill  be legalized and some countries and have permanent set price of bitcoin but there is difference of increasing or decreasing. there price. What do you think guy in 2018 it will increase or decrease.

Don't expect it to go too high in 2018, it had it's run, not it's time to rest. Maybe March or April might be some glory days for it.

That's something nobody can tell you. Every answer you will get isn't more than a guess.
My own opinion regarding that price topic is that may could happen that we will see 4-5 weeks of weakness.
January is a month where Bitcoin never performed pretty well in the past.
So I wouldn't be surprised if we continue going down, slowly but steady and then consolidate for a while.
If the complete opposite should happen, well I'll take it. But I'm not really confident right now. Probably more shakeout going to happen.

for now btc did decrease.
it is very difficult to guess the price of btc, could have risen drastically or dropped dramatically.
and I have confidence in january 2018 the price will rise again.
