I think that by 2018 there will be a lot of coins that will rise in price, which is due to the growing interest and many issues that say bitcoin is going to be a very good selection for investing and trading long time.

Have you watched the market cap of ripple? It seems to be the best coin among top altcoins and people are supporting it much more than other assets.
Ripppe is still young , thus holding in this coin will benifit you undoubtedly. I have recently invested in ripple and decided to hold as long-term investment.

Invest 1000usd or 100usd whatever your capital is in top 20 in youre fine next year anyway.
But other then that id go risky on smal ones below 30mio usd. i invested 200 usd in verge at 0.003 and i regret i didnt put more into it. Paid of 10k usd...

bitcoin is obviously the best coin to hold and trade for both short and long term.

and the altcoins are literary countless. and all of them are best coins for trading in short term but for a limited time and you will only know it when their time comes not 2-3 months before the pump.
for example these days Ripple is the pumping coin like it was back in early 2017 and now it is coming to an end soon it gives the place up for another altcoin to be pumped.

I hold PPT, COSS AND COB as my largest bags in my portfolio and I do hope they all do well. I wish I had more of other coins as well but for now I only have these three and hoping they explode in 2018. I do have smaller quantities of other good coins as well and if they grow large, my portfolio will also grow to a decent size. I have missed out on all the large cap coins so am looking at smaller coins to own for now to get the increased multipliers and maybe invest a little of the profits into the larger cap ones as a hedge against more smaller volatile coins.

Bitcoin Cash is one of the coins to watch over in 2018 and I think one should buy and hold it before the end of this year as bitcoin Cash teams are about to launch  debt card by January this year and this is going to push bitcoin Cash price  upward in 2018. Dogecoin has not doing well in 2017 and we should expect a boom for this coin in 2018.

I think the good ones and the ones suitable for long-term holding are bitcoin and bitcoin cash, whereas for the short term we can play cheap cheap coin worth under $ 5 daily scalping play has been very mengutungkan.
