Main News

I thought i was hallucinating this morning. In a shocking and unexpected move.....cryptsy added ORB. What on earth is going on?

A 66% premined Shitclone barely 3 days old got added to exchange  Roll Eyes
We've all been witnessing some new good launches of late eg Spots and HBN, the successful revival of GME made quite a hub bub too.
Yet in the face of all that success....ORB, what a joke.

In other news the community seems to be refining it's mining choices as the recent spat of failed launches has left people sunbathing with their bags of useless coins.

Business News

Not much here today except more dumping, we are however waiting to see what cryptsy does next  Tongue

Sports News

We expect a large amount of releases this week, including a few scam revivals. So watch the new coins battle it out.

ORB was disqualified from the League after the community reviewed it's terms and conditions.  The shitdev has gone back to the drawing board.

Weather News

You guessed it folks!!! Major shitclone storm incoming, in honor of failcoin #1 we dub it, Hurricane ORB.

Midday Update

PXC dump underway as the devs just changed the game, major holders are already leaking coins as news of the client update that is changing mining parameters  spreads.

I come to just read this. Orb had the shortest listing in history, troll box went insane and very mad when it did. Almost a riot

Yea, I've pretty much given up on trying to get Spots on Cryptsy. Especially after Orbs got up there so fast. The day after BitJohn was talking in trollbox about them being more selective in adding premined coins, they pick the 66% premine that's mere days old...guess they need to be offered a bounty, but fuck that, I'll let the services and good do the talking

I can put these up on like iGotSpots.com/report or whatever you choose if you want for the time being until you get your own site up

Thanks barwizi for this awesome thread!

I am so disappointed in the lack of logic in the minds of coin developers (ORB), and the lackeys they have supporting them blindly. I am even more worried that the same scrutiny will be placed on the coin I have been supporting (GME). Cryptsy allows a beyond measure scamcoin on in 3 days where other good coins have yet to make it.

I am especially enraged after reading one of BitJohn's replies Dated: July 27, 2013, 01:37:23 AM "We have started to consider premines way more heavily into the coin research we do."  Roll Eyes

I was also there when he said that. It's funny how they still are picking the openly-bragged premined coins over fair launched. Oh well

You have to change your ANN thread to say its for "science." And then there is no worry on how much premine you can do.

Can you put a unique Say,  3 letter or number combo in the topic heading  , that is of course consistent so that one may use the search function and find your news easily ?

The only thing one can think of they loaded cryptsy up with orb ?

An offer to good to refuse ?

I honestly completely missed " orb" so it's good to catch up with your news .

I'm also in favour of " The Dump report"

Or " error dump report "

It is not 40% it is 80%!

Block time went from 90 seconds to 50 seconds, which is an increase in generated coins of 80%. No explanation was given by the developers. This is the biggest news the last week as it is pretty much killing all trust in the coin.

What is the point of holding a coin where you have no clue how many new coins will be created tomorrow? Its actually worse than fiat.

Wtf?

Honestly,I'm really disheartened with cryptsy. So many shitcoins listed, some virtually overnight, while others are completely dismissed after being mined for weeks. I just wish more people would start trading on Coins-E instead and let cryptsy become the shitpile its quickly developing into.

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

Enjoying the news!

If there are indeed bounties to be paid for a crypsty listing, are they paid in the coin to be listed or BTC/LTC?

I think people should stop paying these bounties, i think they played a large part in the ORB debacle. A coin should be traded for it's good points and community acceptance not just because it offers a 5% premine for the exchange.
