Hi guys, just saw a video about bitcoins, I am wondering do I need extra safety software for taking care of my coins? I read some stuff that there is a chance that your activities can be intercepted and manipulated during payments and your wallet details could be leaked. So probably I need to encrypt my IP address. What do you use for your security? Any vpn suggestions? Sorry, if am wrong, I am just worried and curious how to protect my coins. Thank you for your answers.
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

As long as your private keys/recovery seed are secure and not just sitting in a text file on your computer or phone or somewhere digital then you're fine. No one can steal your coins just because you sent a transaction(unless if you sent your funds to a scammer). If you want high security of your coins, consider purchasing a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S[1] and Trezor[2].
