Problems with crypto - we arent there yet

There are still many problems in crypto:

- This year we had many HARD FORKS.
- high transaction costs ($40,- btc)
- transaction speed
- realy decentralized? Who are the big players, who decides the hard forks..
- almost all crypto needs to be payed with btc
- ICO’s - to much greedy and some good projects

We arent there yet. But these problems wil be solved 
Maybe in 2018..

Most problems with Bitcoin might still exist other than fast transactions, the wallet teams should be able to get the at fixed this year.

Everyone is talking about the problems of bitcoin. I think that these problems are artificially created. With a strong desire can be solved very quickly. There is another danger that no one sees. In recent times the exchange of cryptocurrency have problems with the withdrawal of Fiat. This will affect the whole community of cryptocurrency.

Lightning network will resolve the slow confirmation speed,and good ICOs are coming in with artificial intelligence projects this year we hope that alts will do good than lat year.

There will always be some issues in any ecosystem, but I would just look at all the strides it made in 2017. Looks good for 2018 and let's keep our fingers crossed!

Most of the things you mentioned aren not the problems with cryptos, you pretty much summarized Bitcoin's problems.

Decentralized cryptocurrencies are probably the biggest issue. As of now, those coins are getting a lot of attention from corporations and investors, which is very worrying because those cryptos don't follow the fundamentals of what cryptocurrencies are based on.

And when you say "crypto needs to be payed with btc", how is this a problem? altcoins will always trade with Bitcoin, that's the crypto that drives the market, and without it most of the altcoins will probably dissapear. If you consider this a problem, then you'll have to wait a long time because nothing's gonna in 2018.

On the brightside, with the influx of people into crypto opens doors to industries like finance. Saw a project called Polymath bridging wall street to blockchain. We will have to experience a lot of diificulties before obtaining the best market for crypto currencies and it is a good thing that this obstacle happen because we can test the stability of cryptos. 2017 test how strong every coins are and how people support them after experiencing sudden change in their prices. We are not yet done I'm sure more hardforks and fluctuations will be experience but we can all cope up with this
