If you want to see bitcoins use expand, lets start a campaign for their use by sending emails to all the sites you regularly use, and make payments on, and request that they start using bitcoins as a payment method in the future, and explain the advantages to them. I've just sent the following to moonpig.com
Hi,
I would like to make a suggestion for the improvement of your already very good site. As a customer I would like to see bitcoins accepted as an alternative payment method. Bitcoin use would also benefit your business as you would not incur the overheads of credit card transactions. I hope you can include these in the future
Regards
If I get a reply I will post it here. Maybe you would like to post where you have sent emails to, and what you said.

Just sent a suggestion to Facebook that they accept Bitcoins as payment for there Facebook Credits, allow the use of bitcoins to buy services directly from Facebook, act as an escrow service between users of bitcoins, and create a Facebook wallet.

This is a great idea. Hopefully now that Bitcoins have made the cycle through major news organizations, some companies will already have heard of them. If we can just keep increasing the number of times "Bitcoins" ends up in their radar, I'm sure there will be some who are interested.

I say go out into the real world. Make fliers and put them in real places with bitcoin information. There are lots of coffee shops and streetposts just waiting for a bitcoin flier. Lets get out of moms basement and start a flier campaign. I can post bitcoin crap on my facebook all day and people ignore it, if they see a real flier or something about it, they see it as more real and will investigate.

And find something you can sell, a book, some CD, SOME dvd, a car.
You can also put out second hand things to sell on for example craigslist or similar site in your country. Selling things you own (secondhand) and put in, I would prefere to be paid in bitcoins and I´m willing to give a better price if paid with those or I want to be paid in bitcoins only.
This could reach out to a lot of people.
If 300 ads are seen by 500 persons each thats 150.000 who will see this. Maybe talk about it and show it to a friend. And think, if he is willing to give a better price in bitcoins, those bitcoins must be good.
When you put something out for sale, post the link to it here.

or I want to be paid in bitcoins only.
I am afraid that's illegal, if you accept a payment then it is a must to also accept official currency, but you can triple the price in USD and if required tell officials it's because bitcoin has no transaction fee or something like that, then i think it would be ok.

Just put the question on Google Adsense forum asking when Google will add the option of making payments to publishers via bitcoins.

Where? In the US you must accept payment in USD for debts owed (like a plumber after the work is done, or a meal in a restaurant after it is eaten) but for an item for sale you do not as it is not a debt. You can offer to trade your items for bitcoins and bitcoins only just as someone might want to trade a HD 5870 for a power supply and nothing else. http://www.federalreserve.gov/faqs/currency_12772.htm

I often send emails to websites asking where there bitcoin address can be found. When they reply with "WTF is bitcoin?" I send them a link and tell them I will be back when they are all setup.

Also, even if you were collecting for an actual debt owed, it specifies that you must accept notes and coins, not Visa/Mastercard/Paypal.
