This coming year is going to bring happiness for all the investors as prices are going to surge high with bumps although the prices are down at current but this situation is going to be over soon so relax and stay calm.As far as fee issue is concerned the developers are still trying to resolve the same but it will take some time but it is going to develop more so have faith in its power.The price speculation are near about $50-$60k by the end of next year which can be achieved as btc has shown earlier what it is capable of so just hodl.

I think the Bitcoin price could be as high as $ 100,000 because Bitcoin prices are constantly being bought by investors and certainly in the future Bitcoin will definitely increase and will never tumble over the next few years.

First week of January is just next tomorrow. And with now being weekend and also holiday, trading activities are kind of low now.
Bitcoin will rise up a little by new year and might remain as such till people start putting back money into Crypto again.
As for the fee problem, I don't see that being solved.

I think bitcoin will fall on January 2018, too many speculation will comes up. Most people expect bitcoin will rise higher than ever but real market is mystery, but I believe will reach $ 23.000 by the end of the year 2018. Nothing worry about fees, it will not change anything. As long many people replace their money into bitcoin, fees problem will solved it self.

Possible the price of the bitcoin price again will increase because holiday is done like christmas and new year.  I think the yar of 2018 will be great than the year of 2017 . You pose some good questions here, but no one truly knows the answers. But we sure as hell can speculate

I think in 2018 BTC will be pretty much forced into launching the lightning network to significantly improve the transaction speed issues everyone seems to be encountering. This will be a pretty monumental improvement for the BTC protocol. I think this is going to fix a ton of other small issues some people seem to have with BTC.

One thing you mentioned is true, A ton of people are adopting the notion of interacting more with ETH or ERC-20 based alts. Cheaper fees, faster transaction times. Those are massive positives in this current market. So i think the price of ETH will jump up significantly in 2018.

In regards to the price of BTC in 2018 i think it can reach 40K at some point. I have no evidence or reason to back that up other than basic increase in market adoption worldwide.

If we look to the bigger picture, we can understand clearly that Bitcoin is still at early age, Bitcoins had been consolidation over the past year and this year its break the consolidating period and started to make the first stage of movement. I believe the next year will be more interesting, we can see how the market react after it started the first stage movement. Worth to mention, that today Bitcoin prices are still cheap, even McAfee said Bitcoin is cheap. Its a great opportunity for an investor to started accumulate Bitcoin for a long-term hold. I think 2018 will be the best altcoin year so far. Bitcoin might loose a lot of its dominance. Some reasons why to believe so:
- There's for example IOTA using the tangle data structure instead of the blockchain, thereby overcoming the scaling problems of Bitcoin (slow transactions & high fees).
- There are a lot of interesting privacy coins, overcoming the privacy/anonymity issues with Bitcoin (users can be tracked).

Well, first i want to say that bitcoin will still stay on its range in first of 2018. It will not rise.
Second, i am holder of bitcoin but i dont expect very impossible thing like bitcoin can $22000 this end of the year. I want it not going below $13k.
Third, i am not sure if the fee can be solved or not since fork is nothing. Not solving anything.

many of us expecting that bitcoin price will rise in the 1st week of january 2018 and we are waiting the moment comes. I am sure that we need to break the price before we can increase. I think the fee is not yet solved and we still pay a high fee but I hope soon the fee will reduce so we don't have complained about the fee. I don't think that ethereum will be a good solution because we need to pay the gas and as far as I know, the gas fee increases too like bitcoin fee.

It's easy to predict the bitcoin dominance gets eaten by the new crypto that pays a lot of attention from the market just like ripple or even cardano in the future. Because bitcoin only keep around 39 percent domination in the crypto space. it may go down again.

After all of these very expensive celebrations like Christmas, new years and other holiday seasons, Bitcoin price value will bounce back by the next year because we can now focus on trading and investments in which an opportunity by some people too to purchase bitcoin at lowest price once again. My speculated value for the next year is $20,000. I am not fans of ethereum specially that Riple coins is a threat.
