Hi,

I withdrew 0.3 BTC from Binance a few days ago, with the standard fee of 0.001 that they charge, for a total of 0.299.

I have checked the tx that was given in the Withdrawal section, it is:

27806a50bc374cf3e3f380eb6563495cff3be25a967e4c265f5e6cfca79097ee

Sent to my BTC wallet:

1ADes2A4vU9czdsUBUo5vGN1aY2GVn2YiQ

It still hasn't arrived! All other transactions I have done through Binance and every other exchange has worked fine so far, and yes this is the correct address. I have done 2 separate withdrawals to the exact same Bitcoin wallet and it went through fine, I double checked just now to make sure everything is correct and it is.

I have spent hours trying to do my own research on this transaction, is there anyone more qualified that could give me an idea of what's going on? I feel like I'm in the dark here and don't know if this will be confirmed in 3 days or 3 months. Any guidance would be helpful.

Thank you!! Smiley

It should be on your address already as it has been confirmed. Is that your own bitcoin address (not another exchange address). Looking at your wallet address, the 0.3 (0.299 to be exact) was forwarded to another address.
If your address 1ADesxxx is an exchange address or an online waller then you should ask the customer service of the exchange/online wallet.

Thank you for the reply.

Yes the 1ADxxx is another exchange address. I have checked many times and I don't see that transaction in the history on the exchange I sent the BTC too. I have full access to that account and everything is working fine, I sent more BTC to that 1AD address and it worked fine.

I am definitely not an expert at this but I thought I saw that BTC being transferred from 1ADxxx to another address as well. Any ideas of what my have happened and if it might be possible to recover this lost BTC? I have sent a support ticket to the exchange I sent the BTC to.

This problem lies in their side and since you have already sent a support ticket to them, what you can only do now is to wait for their response.
Did you reference your TXID and your transaction history? as it can greatly help for them to solve your issue as soon as possible.

It's a normal practice for most exchanges and it's most likely for security reasons or for organizing addresses/funds. There's nothing to worry about as long as the exchange is reputable.

Thank you for responding.

Yes I did reference my TXID and transaction history (or lack there of). It is a reputable exchange with high 7 figure daily volume I just hope I don't get lost in the void of backlog of tickets etc. They did process my FIAT withdrawal in a timely manner however, which is hopefully a sign that things are running OK at the moment.

But from what you're saying this BTC is potentially recoverable then? I feel like I'm only one this has happened to before lol

Thanks again

Yes! The bitcoin was credited to my account a few hours ago. All is good.

Thank you for your help.
