The negatives seem to out weight the positives on this one. I like the OC'd memory but would liked to have seen 6GB at least. I also can't justify buying a gigabyte GPU with a 3 month warranty unless it pays for itself in less than 3months.

It has good eth mining rates, but for nvidia it's best to mine equihash. 500sols/s equihash > 38mh/s eth. Not a good deal due to poor warranty, resale value and 4gb ram unless the buyer wants to mine eth and eth only.

I would not buy any GPU with only a 3 month warranty. No display connector of any kind also ruins the resale value. Any "mining specific" GPUs that I have seen so far have been roughly the same price as "gaming specific" models and equal in performance, so there's no reason at all to buy them imo.

One reason I can think of is actually using the 19 slots in the Asus motherboard. For what I've heard you can only do that with these cards (that have no video). Other than that, maybe I need to rethink it

If the Asus mining mainboard B250 could regconize more P104-100 as P106-100, it will be very interesting.

As I remember, there's a topic which many guys showed they successfully installed 19 or even 21 P106-100 in B250 mining mainboard. Actually, P106-100 is good deal for me, its price is reasonable and achieve high hashrate. As I heard that Inno3d P104 card could hash 35Mh/s and price is around 425$ (not confirmed it yet, I'm waiting the answer in next 3 weeks). If it's the case, it is a good deal as well.

They need to be less expensive than the 1070 to be worth buying, as it appears they are nothing more than a 1070 GPU coupled with INFERIOR (for mining) GDDR5X ram and only 4GB of it (the lower memory amount is not an issue for mining).
At least one maker CLAIMED 35 Mhash/sec on ETH but the use of GDDR5X memory tends to make a card SLOWER on ETH mining, so I call BULL on that claim - or they had a typo and meant to say "25 Mhash/s" (which WOULD be believeable as that's close to what the 1080 can manage with the SAME type of RAM).
I would expect their performance on non-memory limited algorithms to be the same as a 1070 at the same core clock, give or take "silicon lottery" factors.

Even at $425 I would have a hard time buying them (based on USA prices anyways). If they had a longer warranty or display connectors + normal amount of VRAM I might consider them at ~$400 each. We just bought some standard GTX 1070s for $446 each, so these aren't too interesting for me.

They are fast on ETH and some memory algos as they have bios tweak for memory... so with OC 38Mhs is possible or more

41Mh/s is much more than what I expected. Actually until now I could not get the deal for P104-100, I need to wait about more 3 weeks. So still wait somebody here demo/show some tests.

My 8x p104-100 Rig.
Could you share a bit about your setting, also if it's possible, could you show us your GPU-Z info. It looks like your GPU has memory from Samsung. As my tests with Zotac P104-100, GDDR5x Hynix, it could achieve max at 39.7 Mh/s and stable at ~39 Mh/s. All these tests and GPU info I already posted here for reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2677496.0
