Some ICO's this year made significant gains, but now there are so many that it's hard to keep track and really figure out the good projects.

But same with just investing to a coins on exchanges, isnt it?

ICO probably has biggest potential return (especially when you are early contributor). But same it probably has biggest risk.

How do you choose ICO? Is a big bonus a good or bad sign? What do you think about continuous bonuses, I saw this many times, where projects offering 50/40/30/20/15 and just a little without bonus, I think it hurts the original price. You?

Share your stories, what is most profitable for you.

Those three are very good way to earn money or profit.
Now depending on people itself, what the prefer.
Regarding to my choice, i did day trade but it seems bit difficult to predict. Profit for 3 time and the aother is loss.
I suggest any of you, if you want to do day trade, you also have to prepare for longer trading or holding and prepare extra capital for plan B.

I do it professional for years, Im interesting to hear different stories from people with different education, skill and knowledge level. For sure, if you are a new one, forget about day trading, as you need to be familiar not only with fundamental analysis but also with TA. So I want to know what people do, what knowledge base they have and what is more profitable for them.

In my opinion, it's best to just invest in altcoins now, invest in ICOs the most risky

Cryptocurrencies are  my full-time job now. I have good of profit every month so I like it. All my savings I hold in four alternate currencies and from time to time I trade with them. It’s grasping thing. So I combine two ways here.

Day trading will give you good profit if you're good at trading ofc. Investing in ICO will give you massive profit if you chose the right ICO and sold it at the right time but it's very risky.

i choose daily trading, because altcoins has faster growth and decline, you can make profitable with daily trading, you can earn everyday profit from trading, but you must remember your goal is profit, not how many coins you have.

Altcoin and ICO investments are more profitable for me. Invested in a couple of them and managed to gain profits that i am happy with.

I didn’t do day trading much because I am holding day job and do not have time to monitor the market and stuffs.

Mid/long-term trading & investments
Just finished my first ICO and now waiting for tokens allocations. Not sure it will be profitable at all but at least I will take some own experience.

Day trading is a myth, IMO. Only 0.00001% of day traders can make a profit, all other just losing money.

All savings in alts?? Thats too risky, you better change your strategy. Alts can give good returns, but very risky. I have 30% in crypto, but some people will say its way to much. Probably 10-20% is optimal. But Im talking about 200k + sums.

As for myself, I do not trade anymore, as it very time consuming, and for the investment split, its 70/30, where 70 altcoin+bitcoin, and 30% icos.

One more question, what is your profit fixing strategy?

I'm trying to combine all these types of work. I like to buy tokens/coins at the bottom after the listing. Here I have a pretty good profit.

Here is my personal experience and insight with all three:

Day Trading: EXTREMELY stressful! Especially if you are trying to juggle it with a normal job.  Pumps happen so fast on exchanges you really need to be constantly checking it throughout the day.  Since you are spending so much time watching the market, you don't have much time to go through and research the coins you are trading.  Also, dumps happen quickly and you have to be really careful to not buy a coin at too high a price, or one that is on its way out.  But, if you time it right (ideally, during a bull run like the last two weeks), you can substantially increase the amount of btc you have.  To me, day trading is the highest risk and highest reward.

ICO: I made a substantial return off of Electroneum and Wabi.  However, it was after many, MANY hours of dilligent research and crunching numbers.  I would say that the biggest risk in ICOs is not being scammed, if you do even a little amount of research you can spot scams a mile away.  The biggest risk is investing in an ICO that has NOTHING TO OFFER.  What that means is there is no platform, no product, no use for blockchain at all.  Or they are just copying another well established project's ideas.  These kinds I have seen people lose money or not get that much returns.

Altcoin investment: This one has been the least profitable for me, but also the easiest.  I had put a large sum into IOTA and Monero back when they were 60 cents and 80usd respectively so I am happy with them now.  I am still holding on to them and expect larger returns.  However, when I started calculating the rise of those two in comparison with the rise of btc, I realized that my gains weren't really that much in the end.  If I would have just left in btc, I would have just about the same amount of money today.  I can see how many people want to find a "hidden gem" but, in my opinion, it isn't worth the time.  Of course, there are many people who have made substantial gains through altcoins so, go figure.

ICO is the most profitable one if and only if you find the correct project. Othwerwise, it's an intense pain for you. We saw this many times people lost too much money on wrongly decided ICO investments.

Investment in ICO is the best for me I ensure I research well about the project before investing and it has pay off, trading require full time availability and quite risky for me following the coin.

High risk equals to high returns ,Low risk equals to low returns
For me I will chose altcoin investment , find some altcoin got projects on hand and good reputation buy it and hold it. For day trading very stressful and need to monitor market it will kill my time. For ico investment is good but you need to be private sale or pre sales, it will get some bonus in beginning time.
1st I will chose altcoin investment
2nd I will look into ico investment
3rd then do day trading.

ICO investment with a bit of self research is the safest way to profit. Altcoin investment are riskier. Only few altcoin seem to survive and prosper in coming times. Day trading is a high risk high reward scheme.
