The whole selling point of MAN is so that the user who would like to create smart contracts no longer need to understand coding. because the underlying program would be able to handle that. This is where AI comes in, the program would automatically generate the smart contract and perform formal validation. In section 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 they go into details on how formal validation would be performed. they spoke about dissembling the binary code and so forth. This HAS NEVER been done in a centralized environment. 1. code auto generation is extremely difficult even without AI. There is no way in foreseeable future that some no name Chinese start up can solve this issue. And the claims they made which is to automatically validate the program via formal validation is scam like. Consider this, if we can generate code so secure and autonomous, why are software engineers paid big $$$ at google and facebook? This is because auto code generation and self validation is a PHD like circle jerk. Doesn’t work, and wont work, until AI has progressed for at least I would say, another 5 decades.
This project has 0 technical details in their paper but a bunch of buzz words thrown around. I am a software engineer myself working for one of the largest space companies in the world.
Put in layman's words, they are trying to do the impossible. If dis ambling binary code is so simple, everyone would have done so already and microsoft would be out of business.

Your whole comment is nonesense. Calling them a "chinese no name start up" already tells me that you didnt do any research on the team & very likely also not on the project in detail and even if you did its even worse. They are experts for many years in the AI industry. At least watch the interview on youtube with the CEO before you comment SH*T like this. "This has never been done" maybe because it wasnt possible till now? Jesus and you call yourself an "expert".. |

As an experienced developer myself, I would agree that the claims they are making are astounding. They are talking about eventually using "natural language" that would automatically generate code. I'd really like to see some kind of proof that they have figured this out - but if they have, it would represent a breakthrough that would be so far beyond anything we've seen that it would extremely strange for them to be wasting their time on a blockchain project like this. |

Doesn't sound so much crazy. I didn't read the whitepaper, but with NLP trying to understand what the user wants and then create a code using that input, that's no so difficult. Maybe isn't even metaprogramming |

Tell me if I'm way off base with this example: - You have a little robotic dog sitting on your table top (with a built-in mic and the processing power to run this AI). - Just by speaking the words, "Wooflexa, I want you to do a flip." - It will compute the words, generate the code, and perform the function/flip I know that this example uses hardware on top of software, but is that an idea of what could happen if everything they're claiming is feasible, or is that too outlandish? |

How was facebook built? The code was written by people. Writing code is an extremely complex and technical skill. Developers take the idea of what they wanted facebook to be and they built it. Imagine you could just "describe" facebook and a computer would build it. It's obviously theoretically possible, but don't you see how astonishing such a thing would be? Instead of paying millions of dollars a year to software engineers, google could just tell a computer what it wanted and POOF! the code would be there. I would be VERY careful if you are thinking about investing into this project. Read the whitepaper carefully, everyone. |

If an AI could be seamlessly tapped into the internet as we know it, maybe. Such a scenario kind of feels like the singularity would already be upon us. No way we're there yet. |
