The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

This has been happening to a few users recently, unfortunately there isn't anything you can do except contacting support and getting them to fix it. It's an issue on their side and they are well aware that this problem has been happening.

Use the mobile app until support gets back to you.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

Since you can use the mobile app send all your funds there and use electrum desktop wallet instead. I suggest that abandon that blockchain wallet of yours, that wallet is buggy and unresponsive support.
