let me ask you a question you went to a website that generated a key and password and you put your money online. did you ever ask yourself, how do you know your the only one with your codes? You are, myetherwallet doesn't log anything. You can check the code for yourself if you need confirmation. And op this is most likely the result of phishing. I would never put 1000 dollars online on something like that Im waiting for my nano, I dont know I can sleep at night when its on some internet site like that, it can vanish and they can just say "maybe you were hacked" maybe....or maybe they stole it would you trust say $1,000,000 in that myetherwallet? I would not

MEW is very difficult to attack. Your information may have been revealed. You should check your computer again. see the malware. or the files that you have downloaded. It may have stolen your information. Keep your PC connection secure, by disconnecting it when not in use

You wouldn't give to anyone your home's keys; you need to keep them with care. The same is with private crypto keys. There are plenty of methods to keep them safe.

No one can hack your account until you let them do it. Just follow 2 rules and your wallets will be safe: 1. Never open suspicious links from your mail, especially if it concerns security or wallet settings. 2. Have a good antivirus and never install wallets from airdrops. Before installing anything it's better to check it with virustotal.com.
I think this are the two most important rules. I would also add one rule: bookmark the original wallet and never ever open it up from another link!

i think the best way of saving your account from hacking is not to use any VPN, using VPN makes your account suspicious.

Use a simple cheap computer that is brand new. And do not use this computer anything instead of cryptocoin storing and transactions. do not keep it with internet connection. do not connect to any wifi lan. connect to internet only sharing internet data from your iphone.
This is not the answer that he should have, not all the computers are infected, most of those guys who are always hacked are the ones who are clicking on porn ads everytime that they join a XXX site, and they get infected by JS; cryptominer or any other virus that seriously affects them. Maybe they can get pished, that is the only way in that someone can stole him his private key, or if he pasted it on his desktop. If you attack your MEW with ledger/nano it would be 100% safe.

Probably you have been subject for "fishing" sites. Create a new MEW account and transfer the amount to the new account. Scan your pc if you have malware. and the most important from now on be careful on the sites that you give your information, because with MEW you are the only person that owns the wallet codes. Im very sorry for your loss.

you probably click some link or ads and didn't notice that is was phishing. better crate a new wallet and spread your coins or funds. also install or update you adblocker and antivirus, i use ublock origin and malwarebytes. i once click a link in slack and my antivirus block it, i'm sure it is a phishing link.

There are two ways to learn how to keep your coins safe: the soft way and the hard way. By failing to protect your coins you have chosen the hard way. Next time, put your coins on a Nano Ledger and you will be safe.

Be cautious when you open websites, you might be a victim of phishing and be very careful when you respond to airdrops. Don't you ever paste your private key everywhere. Install metamask and secure a cold wallet. We all know that eth addresses are non recoverable once hacked.

My hacker attacks, how to protect my account. I lost more than $ 3500, please help me!
It is not easy to hack myetherwallet if you save our login credentials from phishing or malware attack on your system or wrongly put your private key in place of ethereum address. Always save your private key in most safest place and use antivirus and private window to do anything in myetherwallet as no traces or cookies generated in private window.
