Kidnappers Release Crypto Analyst After $1M Bitcoin Ransom Paid

Incidents are like these are likely to happen more in the future, the rising popularity of bitcoin is opening the door for both ends. Where people are utilizing this service to invest in crypto currency and trade money easily on the other hand it is widely used as a tool for ransom and illegal activities. Furthermore this is not the first time where bitcoin was used as a tool for ransom, cases like WannaCry attack, widely circulated over dark web and widely used under Ransomware attacks have already witnessed the dark side of Bitcoin.

But I think this case is turned around to interpret as a kidnaping case whereas I think if a block chain expert of a company like EXMO is kidnapped things might me more shady which may be leveled in the coming days. For now, company might assure that no details about exchange have been leaked to eliminate the panic situations but it may suspect towards hacking of the exchange if any crucial information is held to the wrong hands.
