I transferred my bitcoins from CEX.io to Gemini exchange but it has been stuck unconfirmed on blockchain for a while... the fee was supposed to ~ $110, but it has been over 8 hours.  Can some good miners on this community help ?

I believe the tx number is:

 e7651c62ed1b693a561b36f319de0184ee6ea408654994d1282279a2eace985c

Thank you in advance for all your help - and happy new years to all !

You have such a huge number of inputs that the fee you offer makes only 22 satoshis per byte.

A gentleman, who is also a miner name Damir offer to help me and here's what he found:

Hi Damir:  Thanks a lot for trying to help.  I'm keeping this conversation on here so other could benefit from knowing my situation.

Quote
Hi again,

I accelerated your transaction from several Free Tools + Miner Tools. ( 6 different Tool ) 2 of them didn't accept it due to the very low fee. If you need proof, i can send all screenshots.

Your fee 20 sat/byte , size 40907 byte, which makes it 22 times less than regular fee. This is the reason they didn't accept.

I also tried to add your tranaction into the my pool operator but nodes didn't get it.

The transfer is very large and that makes 137 inputs / 16 outputs.

May i ask you is this from Cold wallet to exchange ?

But anyway let's wait 1-4 hours, if it won't happen, please let me know and i will try on Antminer machine.

I'm posting this to inform others my situation because I did my trade recently with CEX.iO ( located in England but perhaps being run by Indian or Polish immigrants) - though I think newly immigrant business in general are doing very well in the U.K. And the US.  These people are conducting  quite a shady business practice...they took on my bitcoins without any issues, but have done a terrible job at providing clear information and made my life and others very difficult when it time to withdraw your funds...I've read many nightmare story about they hold people funds for long time (up to months) and come up with excuses not to allow the customers to withdraw their money....So I made a big lost and purchased CEX bitcoin at 11% higher premium in order to transfer my coins back to Gemini.  The withdraw was confirmed by Gemini but since CEX.io did not give me any options for fast transaction, my bitcoins are currently stuck in low transaction unconfirmed status...

Keep in mind I've been using Gemini to do all my trading previously and never faced any delay, none what so ever !  The longest was when I transferred my bitcoins to CEX.io and it may have taken ~10,15 minutes... but this is a nightmare...

Do you know how to raise the fee to speed it up ?

I can't believe a supposedly professional exchange would pay such a stupidly low fee. If I were you I'd raise hell with Cex.io and other than dodgy accelerators that's your only option. That particular transaction is going nowhere with that fee.

I could not believe it either CEX.io is a terrible company- they do more bad stuffs than just low tx fee.  Here's my comments with one of their rep on reddit:

Quote
This company really screwed me over royally !!  I had to paid ~ over $10,000 to buy back the bitcoins from them (with 10% premium) to transfer my money back to Gemini.

1). All the bad reports that I've seen on the internet, turn out to be true.

2). Just to be clear:  they will take your deposit (Fiats or coins very conveniently.  But then it would be like your money is going to jail at CEX.io.  They will make your life miserable when you try to withdraw your funds.  I first thought that all the talks about the 2 weeks and months waiting reports  (from others) were exaggerated - but no, they were all true !

3).  CEX.io stuffed my withdraw transaction with others 137 inputs and 16 outputs @$117 tx fee and my bitcoins is currently stuck unconfirmed on the blockchain for the last 18 hours.,,

4). I've heard from others that the people whose run CEX.io are Indian immigrants whose operate this exchange in England.  They are very unprofessional and incompetent.  I work and live among many groups of very smart and professional people (of different ethnic background from all over the world) in California -- I also have many close friends and colleagues from East India and none of them behaving so unprofessional...

CEX.io you are evil !! You should be ashamed of yourself !!

SCAM ALERT !!  Especially for American investors:  please do not touch this exchange or they will steal your money  !!

yet another cex.io's blunders. They're starting to get on my nerve, another one of my friend user on this forums is currently facing the similar issue.  I see the fees was 22s/b which is ridiculously low, whats even worse is the denial of option to change the fees.
what are their replies on this? Please let me know.

Thank you for your support:

The transaction size is 40907 bites, the size of tx when I moved from Gemini to CEX.com was only 280 bites...

So far there has been no response from CEX.io customer support yet - albeit , it's the New Years , so I will wait for a couple more days.

I plan to HODL my bitcoins for now so I think I could wait.  But, so long as I don't have my bitcoins on my hand, I'm a little nervous...

Just a quick update:

The viabtc (free one) does not work for my case - even with someone else, a hero member from this forum who regularly help others, could sneak in my transaction...

The viabtc paid service wanted 2.5 bcc, which is ~ $6,500.

I escalated with cex.io the exhange whose supposed to transfer my coins to Gemini never responded back to me...

BTW, I tried to send some btc to the other hero member (whose tried to help me) from breadwallet, a $10 worth of btc will cost $13 transaction fee...Is there a better way for me to donate btc to others...?

It seems that at the current stage, there is nothing we can do about the transaction as we cannot impact the blockchain. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think the first 100 pushes every hour or block or whatever on the Viabtc accelerator are free but by this point bots must fill it instantly.

As for tipping someone, you're better off - and whisper it - using something like LTC instead.

You're up shit creek. Your fee is only 29 satoshis per byte which is far too low. You might get lucky and activity will fall, but at this moment in time you're likely to be stuck for a lengthy time or it'll come back to your wallet unmined.

Other wallets would let you repay with a higher fee, child pays for parent, but I don't think blockchain.info does. You can try the various accelerators but there are now so many and I don't know how many are any good. Other than that wait and pray.

Alternatively you could import your blockchain.info seed into another wallet that does have the child pays for parent feature and you should be able to do it from there.

It's 118.316 sat/B and 29.579 sat/WU which is the normal fee but since blockchain is over loaded with over 1 lakh transactions, none of the transactions with even 400 sats are getting confirmed in time. Exchanges on top are making it even worse by sending 100's of transactions at a time with minimal fee.
