2 high quality 1000-1200 watts psu and a Add2Psu Adapter , or high quality 1600 watts would be ok , with a reduced power limit on the cards

Lately, I've been using the dell/HP/bitmain power supplies for the GPU's and powering the risers from the mobo PSU unit. I've also switched to M2 memory for the os.

i have a x6 1080ti rig, and i use: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182251its the only PSU i could find with enough 8x2 pins It can be hard to find cheap tho, so if expense matters maybe a dual psu option is better, i just dont like all the hassle and extra parts dual PSU setups need ;p

I'm using Zalman 1250 platinum for every 3 cards (it has 6x8pins connectors) ...so for 6 I believe 2 will be fine

thanks a lot does that also power the board? ya man, its ALL you need, as it has ALL the needed PCIE-cables & PCIE-slots (on the psu) as well to fully power x6 1080ti's, even IF they are EACH 8x2 pin love tht PSU hehe, just wish they were better supply/cheaper :/ its been ROCK solid too, 1250 watts at the wall at 72%ish power, about 4 months now

ya man, np, were all in this together as far as im concerned good luck on your hunt check out server PSUs maybe too, tho maybe you have already They bring higher efficiency and lower upfront cost to the table, but ADD alot of NOISE
