Will we see Bitcoin fall in 2018?

Due to Ripples recent INSANE bull run, I have been seeing SO many FUD posts about how "Bitcoin is over" "Bitcoin will fail in 2018" and whatever other titles people can construe and conjure up to make people scared or sell off their position. It has been really irritating me so I decided to make a video about it, let me know your thoughts and happy New Year!

Forget about the FUDs and all the negative posts about bitcoin because this year 2018 is also going to be great for bitcoin. Bitcoin was in mood for the last few days and even today due to the bitcoin high transaction fee and very slow transaction speed issue, but not for long. The bitcoin "lightning network" is about to be implemented to speed up the bitcoin transaction speed with ZERO transaction fee, how good is that, huh? With the lightning network bitcoin is going to be back on the track running faster than ever. All these guys that are saying bitcoin is dead they should go and hang themselves, then!

I think the decline in the Bitcoin price is caused by the long holiday, and people are selling their Bitcoin for their vacation funding, so it affects the Bitcoin price, but I am optimistic that in 2018 Bitcoin price will increase again.

Bitcoin has been popular over the social media and i think it would take a lot of time days or long long years before the bitcoin falls. Bitcoin has been a staple in the cryptocurrency market but for now we just have to think positive that it will survive in this year.

Agreed... we will definitely see lower prices at some point in 2018.

But does that mean the sky is falling and Bitcoin is going to enter a secular bear market??  Not anytime soon. That would take a genuine reversal of the entire notion of cryptos. And there is no sign of that happening anytime soon.

It is more of skepticism that haunts the status of bitcoin in 2018. Although, it may be safe to assume that we will be seeing lower prices of bitcoin in 2018 definitely, but there is no sign of bitcoin failing anytime soon.

we have time to buy bitcoin before the price increase again and this time, I am not sure the price will stop at the highest price yesterday and my feeling, the price will make the new highest price. we have to see the correction price yesterday and although its crash too far, it seems the price now wants to get up again and I think soon the price will break more than $15k and then there is correction again before it increases higher.

I think we could see some price drop from bitcoin in this year but there is nothing new about it ,
I mean it is part of the crypto currencies but I guess it could never really kill the bitcoin,

There are so many factors that had affected bitcoin's value to fall over the last few weeks but i don't think ripple's increase in value is one of the factors. I see ripples growth in value as a result of bitcoin's dip and not thr other way around. Bitcoin value affects so many altcoins. As for bitcoin to fall further by this year, well that is uncertain and that is an event that we don't want to see. Though i am hopeful that bitcoin value will rise soon.

No no. Bitcoin will still go up. We can see in the history of bitcoin price, each December the price of bitcoin always down and will up again in the february. So don't afraid bitcoin will not die.

On my own point of view I dont think bitcoin will fall in this year 2018 because as we all can see bitcoin keeps price is more increasing rather than decreasing so I think it will still continue to increase this year and less on decrease.

I think no. On the contrary, this year bitcoin might rise up to 40,000 $. and in 2019 can reach the mark of 100,000 $

this is kind of deceiving or FUD to any one here in the forum, Do you have any proof that bitcoin will fall this 2018. In fact, this is just your speculation only which has no basis.  Besides, no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

Most likely — NO. Bitcoin is the stable currency so that its price is unlikely to fall for a long time. You can expect a short term drop, but don't panic and run to the exchange to sell the depreciating currency. Not to take into account the popularity of the digital currency would be stupid, when it has already invested trillions. This is one reason why bitcoins are so much interested in not only leading specialists and traders, but also ordinary citizens, who are in search of where in a crisis, you can get huge additional income.
