Hi guys, can you give me some feedback on the Electrum wallet 2fA? Is it working smoothly?

If I've understood, from the main seed you can still recover the wallet, even if you lose access to the 2fA. Is this extra layer of security worth?

Or maybe is better to buy an hardware wallet?

Are you pertaining on Electrum APP on phone? which I didn't able to experience or encounter such 2fa since ive been using electrum on my pc directly. if it does then its always been advisable to have a 2fa because it is indeed an extra layer of security which hackers would really have a hard time on accessing such wallet since it do have 2fa as long it is not compromised then it should be fine.

safest wallet in my opinion is wallet hardware ...
but 2FA in my opinion is also safe, because its secret code that know also not many people ..
stay careful when you lose your phone

Thank for the replies, any other insights? With these Intel bug and the fact that Ledger Nano S is not available nearly everywhere, it seems to me that a protection like 2fA is a must.
