Bitcoin price is certain to rise again and reach another level and then will go again in correction or consolidation, or the so called crypto winter if ever happen. There will be still some events that may influence the fluctuation of cryptocurrency and these events will determine if bitcoin price will rise of fall. Many predicts bitcoin will rise to a new high this year but that remain to be seen.

Adoption is growing day by day and a lot of investors stopped trading over the holiday season. I also think, some people sold some of their bitcoins to buy some gifts for Xmas and to pay for some expensive holidays.

That is one thing to consider to as many people are really getting aware of Bitcoin, day by day Bitcoin users are increasing and therefore the demand is also increasing. But one thing that it is hindering Bitcoin's growth is itself having network fees this high is no reasonable to become one of the preferred payment methods out their, seeing Bitcoin having this expensive network fees is so unappealing to see. The Lightning Network should hopefully the solution we are looking for.

For my own opinion about bitcoin for the year 2018 is good and will continue rise because three months before 2017 end the bitcoin is increasing so much and i pridect that bitcoin will continue rissing in the year 2018. As a investor I will continue support bitcoin and encourage other to invest bitcoin. I know that bitcoin has many compitensis thats the reason bitcoin has decrease value and many investor had back out thier money. But is not a reason that i will quit bitcoin. I will be strong supporter of bitcoin no matter what happen I will stay and love bitcoin

we cant really tell yet because bitcoins value is unpredictable. it can rise or fall no matter what date ,time , year ,events , seasons , holidays ,etc. these factors dont really hold and dictates the future of bitcoin. what really matter here is the people who buy and sells bitcoin. if people will hold then the bitcoin's value can possibly grow and increase more but if people sells then bitcoins value will also decrease. however bitcoin will still be beneficial even if it decrease or increase because it can still bring a good advantage to all of us bitcoin enthusiast.

High fees and slow send times? When did you made your last transaction? I just made 1 yesterday and it took me 16k sats and less than 10mins to get confirmation. And it's not bad. Unconfirmed transactions are less than 100k. I don't think bitcoin is struggling, it's rather under development.

obviously bitcoin will always rise in price because bitcoin is the digital currency that becomes the solution in the future, the future use of money should be reduced and will switch to digital currencies like bitcoin. this will trigger a rise in bitcoin prices due to the very high demand and limited total supply keep bitcoin prices up.

Those people who are behind main scene need make better PR, need make it faster, lower price for transactions. It's very simple technology make hype and people going where a lot of hype and its quite simple. Need strong strategy and more believers in crypto but of course it's no  need became in the fanaticism!

Well bitcoin has a great future ahead of us all. I do believe that bitcoin will continue to grow this year because of accumulative in number of investors that wants to earn money quickly. They might not know yet the relevance of bitcoin because of their profit oriented minds.

less than 10 days of not rising is not called "struggle" it is called correction and eventually accumulation.
struggling is when at least  for 3 months price is stuck behind some arbitrary resistance and it can not break above it (something like the $220 range)

if people expect bitcoin to rise and if they are bullish then they will act on that speculation, they don't just stay idle by. and that means they will start buying after the holidays ended and price will rise!
