Bitcoin will rise and might fall down again because it is a part of it being volatile so as traders, we must always be ready for this kind of situation. Btc price is actually rising. Its just too many news that is preventing it to go up. So just wait and hold on to your btc. Its still early 2018. Still have 11 months for 2018 to end. If i got the extra cash i would buy more btc.

Blockchain is getting slower because the size of blockchain is small and it can't handle anymore the total population of cryptocurrency industry right now, that is why to make it fast, we need to add some size to blockchain to speed up every transaction that we are processing everyday, and it is not because of the population of those people who runs mining rigs is smaller than the population of investors.

People have spent most their money and have sold their bitcoins to buy presents/ pay bills etc. However, in a few months it should rise, but im not so sure. It is because of the cycle in the market, and the law of supply and demand. During a downtrend, BTC price will not forever fall into the abyss. Same goes during an uptrend where it wouldn't go straight up to the moon. There will always be peaks and troughs, support and resistance, because it is the people that determines its price, you just got to have a good strategy to beat the market. The flaws in bitcoin's technology and other areas for improvement are all part of its growing development.
