Markets always go up and down, but overall the crypto space is exploding. Yes it went down in Jan/Feb, but it's only a matter of time before it goes back up and reaches past the previous high of $20k.

Hopefully less than 411 days, which was the longest time Bitcoin took to correct

https://howmuch.net/articles/bitcoin-all-major-crashes

But the question about if Bitcoin will rise again should be WHEN will Bitcoin rise again.
If history has any intentions of repeating itself, it will almost certainly correct.  And most likely, very soon.

We cannot predict if bitcoin will rise or not. Right now the demand for bitcoin is not that much, especially since the new year and christmas. People have spent most their money and have sold their bitcoins to buy presents/ pay bills etc. However, in a few months it should rise, but im not so sure. More people are looking into alt currency and cheaper icos.

That's right. What we can do is only to study how the market has been before and compare it to its movements and trends now. And basing on the past years, Bitcoin has always had that trend of sleeping for months before it catches fire and regains its value back or even more. Therefore, like most of the people here would tell you, what's happening now is a normal market trend that should be treated as it is and be viewed with patience. As you wait it out, why not focus on other coins that could give you a return while you're waiting for Bitcoin to rise up again. Don't focus on one coin mate; in this market, diversity is the key.

BTC is struggling. Many people are bullish that it will be strong in 2018.

For those who think that, why do you think that is the case when fees are so high and send times so slow?

At the spot bitcoin is struggling in bearish mode and is predicted to be bullish very soon because these days demand of bitcoin in market is low due to recent events like new year and christmas as people have sold out there bitcoins to spend money on different things but after some time they will be back on track and start buying bitcoin because its still very cheap as according to its past record it is half the price it was few months back, so people will soon rush towards bitcoin and buy it which will eventually increase its price.

What is this - concern trolling?

Bitcoin will go up - and it will go down. There are several reasons, check out google for some of the things it can do. This is the year of lightning network - and a ton of alt coins and ICO's / SEC etc.

Strap in.
If indeed ICOs is one of the reasons why bitcoin declined in value then it would be better to invest in altcoins or in ICOs but ICOs are not 100% sure profit too. Too many ICOs it is even hard to identify the real ones from the fake ones.

I think the OP doesn't really understand what's happening in the cryptoworld. Of course, higher fees are expected in the cryptomarket as its market price gets higher and it slower it gets as more people are having multiple transactions on the blockchain.

The current situation, bitcoin seems not optimistic. The amount of people investing in bitcoin is not as much as before due to the appearance of other virtual currencies. Investors are looking for opportunities in other currencies, which are profitable

Bitcoin still dominates the virtual currency world. I'm not sure it can sustain this domination much longer. The emergence of other currencies has threatened bitcoins. So the return of bitcoin in 2018 will not be as strong as 2017

The price of bitcoin is down for many reasons. The supply-demand imbalance is the main cause. Big money giants like Charlie Lee and Emil Oldenburg all sold off virtual currency after the dollar rose. So bitcoin needs time to recover, I think it will be hard to reach the peak as in 2017

I believe and are sure that bitcoin on this year will increase, and better yet from years yesterday. We as users of the bitcoin must support the advancement of the bitcoin.

Yep, I also think so. It’s normal that bitcoin had trend of sleeping for some months, one thing we all know that bitcoin is extremely notorious, it can definitely recover again soon.Waiting with patience is the best way to do now. Although the demand of using bitcoin is getting reduced, the number of people who do use bitcoin, is really greatly crowed. There have many times that bitcoin get low strongly, but then it reached to high again. We’d better believe in it instead of giving up.

Bitcoin will even continue dominating the crypto world. Bitcoin is the new emerging online currency and people are all over the world taking interest in it, bitcoin still has too much potential and therefore it will continue increasing its price for a long time, even we can expect that bitcoin price will cross 25000$ very soon. Because still investors are investing money in bitcoin.

Bitcoin will rise again because that's how a market works, it goes down, then it goes back up. If the market didn't move this way then people would have a very hard time making any money from it.

Those who are interested in maintaining the security of online transactions should have the means to communicate without problems. A technology that allows for instantaneous global transactions can be used to create standardized and verified customer data registers containing digital signatures. If governments learn to better manage data, this will help free up resources to fulfill priority tasks and reduce the risks of tax evasion

This is the flow of bitcoin. There are times that the price will high or sometimes is low. And this is the work from Market. More and more people will become interested so the price of bitcoin is moving. Be positive that the price of bitcoin will always high.

Nobody regulate BTC and nobody can control it. Any one can make a simulated market emergency and the BTC price can rise. We as a whole know Gold have price in light of the fact that there is request. Essentially If there are BTC emergency in the market then BTC price will rise.
