Etherdelta Token sale, will you buy it?

i think alot of people will buy token from them and its likely the token sales will be successful because they have alot of people who trade using their platform but etherdelta need to face the security issue and deal with it. truely this is major challenge of any trading platform but they can improve on it and provide improve security in order to stop future occurence.

I don't trust it since the last phishing hack and won't touch ED now  with a barge pole. ED was apparently sold off and it could have been sold off to scammers, this is what I read somewhere and I changed all my wallets that were associated with ED and transferred all my tokens out. I won't be using it ever again I don't think, not unless I invest in hardware wallets like trezor and nano s.

may be they are running the token sale to improve the security of the exchange... plus it is never safe to keep your tokens or ethereum on the exchange.

seems to me all this time I still use trade site coinmarket because this site is more easily and understand to me if in token sales using etherdelta I am still less understand and most likely most of the sales tokens are still using manual with coinmarket because etherdelta still require improvements in security in the trade so that more people got interested with the etherdelta ...

Well, i might or might not. It really depends on the reason for the token sale. If it is for earning funds to make their security better, then that would be a worth it investment. But if it is for other reasons which are obviously poor efforts to fatten up their pockets, i dont think I'll be investing. Never heard ablut this though, im gonna check it out first. No. I will used their site for my own purposes as some of my tokens can only be traded on Etherdelta.

Even if it will become worth it in the future, I will not regret. I just minimized the risks.

What is the reason behind this ICO? First they were hacked and now they are doing ICO? Something is fishy here. I hope they will use that money to improve security.

Etherdelter is an open source token sale website that one sell his or her token i have sold several of my token on etherdelter without any issues of stolen token or what so ever.

They are running their own ICO, this topic is not about you buying tokens there.

Recently Etherdelta's domain was hacked and lots of people who share their private keys with Etherdelta was hacked. Problem doesnt fix, after few days without explanation what happened to domain hacked. They launched their ICO.

Stay away from this exchange site.

Well,i will buy into their ICO,challenges will always come up but opportunities for investments in those challenges shouldn't be overlooked.Decentralized Exchanges are becoming the order of the day especially in the wake of possible centralized exchange regulations,so in the near future exchanges like etherdelta will be a very hotcake and so will their tokens.I'm sure they are working on the security breech and hopefully can prevent another one from happening

The recent hacked case of etherdelta was attacking the dns of etherdelta itself. that redirected these people into the fake site. But this looks silly to see etherdelta try to run an ico, and the ridiculous thing about there is no utility usage for the token of etherdelta itself. It seems to be useless soon.

No for sure but lots of people will invest in, because etherdelta is well known exchange and their team is just started an ico because of this popularity.

I really would not mind anyway even though I am just hearing this. They have been around for a while now and even though they have had some few issues, they have proven to be able to do better. It may not be worth starting a token sale since they have made enough over the years already, but if it gives a chance to at least be a part of a decentralized exchange and if having the token gives one a good chance to have some good profit in the long run, it should be a good one to invest in. Also, this may be a way to want to upgrade the platform to be better and give every investor a chance to be a part of it.

like my etherwallet no one can access their account without private key. etherdelta is a decentralized market exchange so no one can access the account without private key, even the owners couldnt. i will support etherdelta if still running properly. previous adverse events are a thing we do not want but losing money in it is due to our negligence that enter through phishing site. but if etherdelta itself is a phising site then we must be vigilant.

Etherdelta now has a lot of security issues. I won't be participating in their ICO, and I won't be trading on this exchange.

etherdelta is a good exchange site, it was hacked few weeks ago by changing to phising site, so many careless investors didn't realize that so they lost money, that is not etherdelta's fault, so when i heard ED open a crowsale i feel a little bit strange but ED is a great exchange that has many investors using it, so it is still worthy to invest in its crowsale, it may risky but worthy.

Etherdelta need to improve on it's security! Interestingly, etherdelta project was not as a result of ICO! They were able to pull off their decentralized exchange without raising any fund. i think they deserve some trust and I am going to buy etherdelta ICO!

Waste of money. You get nothing back, just have to hope that the price is raising, but there is no other use beside that. Etherdelta should have enough money for security without a tokensale, if they want to use the money for security reasons based on the hack some days before.

the idea is good. if people deal with etherdelta, it's just there too. only newcomers have big problems in the beginning.
I used to have them too. I could imagine investing if the price is not too high
