tbh this forum is filled with infinite guides to get started and not just this forum
just google or youtube there are infinite tutorials and videos available
you want to know the first thing you will do? only you know that

It's not really profitable to mine ETH, I'd suggest you to mine other altcoins to get more ROI

If you don't have a big mining rig, don't try it. Maybe you better invest your money in a cloud mining firm like genesis Mining e.g. But the MiningPlans are temporarily sold out.
