44 Mh/s it's for people that don't care about energy cost, my p104's do 39 Mh/s at 118w , yours 44Mh/s at 160w
Hello, can u share your settings?
39 Mh/s at 118w is impressive..

I just received some P104-100s and am testing one but what are people using to monitor power usage?  My nvidia inspector doesn't get any readings.  Is there a version that works for this card or some other program?

Thanks!

JJ

You can use GPUZ.

Do you have power consumption data for the tests you ran?

With afterburner at 65% power + 780 memory, + 50 core they are running 39.6 MH/s ETH.  System at the wall with 1 card mining was 149W  (28W idle) so roughly ~119W for the card.

I did an awesome miner benchmark at 70%/770mem/50core with the following results.  Wasn't looking at power usage.  I just left it run while doing other things.  It ends up putting the highest hash for all miners after you save so ignore the fact that different miners for the same algo look the same.

Yeah I have that but I only see the %power vs  actual watts.  It's nice to have watts.  It'll do though.

You don't need to get this much overclock for 39.5 MH/s. You can get same result with below settings . No dev fee and with 135w-140W consumption.

1. Use ethminer.
2. %72 power
3. +635 memory
4 -50 core

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I created this topic. And today I would like to show you guys some pic of MSI P104-100 which were presented in Computex 2018 Taipei.
There're more asics miners are coming but hopefully GPU mining community will be stronger.

P/S: Will be added in the first post as well.

50Ksol/s 620W, Innosilicon announces World Best Equihash Miner A9 ZMaster

You wasted your money BRO

Also my 1070 clock to 35 MH.. your cards are overpriced for hash rate..

Hi mate, yeah this's really hard time for us. I'm looking for some asic-resistance coins to mine. But it's not that easy.
For me, I'm going to resell my Rx580 and keep P106-100 and P104-100 to mine since P106/P104 dont have graphic output so it's almost impossible to resale them.

Good luck to you brother.

Hi Buddy, my friend got an offer to purchase P104-100, the deal looks ok, price is $400/GPU. But I'm afraid at the current dump period, it's not benefits to mine with GPU, since asics miners are dominating the hashrate. What do you think?

Not worth it. You can buy GTX 1080s for cheaper , get the same hashrates and better resale value.

No brainer.

P104-100 is a useless buy. Unless you like wasting money.

By the way here folks solved the problem of overheating of the memory on p104 by removing two resistors on the main memory power supply circuit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MA9_4tq2anA

"The manufacturer put them here for power surge potection, but now that the cards are overclocked they are more likely to melt the circuits down then to protect them from anything. We removed them and placed a jumper wire instead. "

by now it costs about $300 in china (i mean gpu card) may be not bad

After seeing the performance of RTX series, I am more convinced that the P104 is still the best mining card on the market.

40MH/s+ for around $4xx with the P104-100 is a really good deal imho. I don't think it's good to compare to AMD Radeon because per card hashrate AMD is much lower, and consumes much more power.

Fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful. Just HODL.

Agreed. P104 has surprisingly stood up to the test of time. The MH/$ and MH/Watt figure is still the best. I just wish Nvidia would release a new mining series card using the RTX series.

It would be sick to see a P-series card based on RTX 2070 pulling in 80MH/s  Roll Eyes

Ugh, not this shit again. You can go out and find second hand P104, and you'll see how WELL these cards have held-up in value. They are WAY more efficient than GTX 1080 for mining Ethereum. Furthermore, P104 is DEFINITELY cheaper than 1080.

you can buy a 1080 for $300 used and you can get 40MH with the ETH pill.

why would you buy a $400 card, for the same performance, and less resale value? that P104-100 can only mine and doesn't have display outputs, a 1080 can do everything else, making it much more appealing to potential buyers.

hell even the 1080ti is a better buy, less than $500 and does over 50MH with the pill with very low power use.

keep crying about your poor investment, its ok.

..i was bought 2x P104-100 one for 277€ (321$) and i have stable 40+MH/s on ethash i was really happy becouse my electricy is only 300W for both (and this is the reason - electricity)

cool story. my 1080tis use less power than that.

it's not very impressive. you could have bought a 1080 for less. they go for 300 all day used. sometimes even less
