Hi,

I would like to ask you, in your experience, what are good chip temperatures and fan speeds in order to prolong the usage-life of an antminer s9. Also, do you perform any kind of maintenance operations?

Best regards,
Paulo

Anything under 90c is fine on the chip temps, most people shoot for 80c or less tho. The only maintenance you really need to do is blow the machines out. IF enough dust builds up it can conduct static electricity and cause many problems. Also the fins of the heatsinks can clog up and reduce its ability to cool itself. Other than that just let it run. Fan speeds are controlled by the software so it is not something you will be adjusting.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
