Anybody that doest take part in airdrop?

Fairly new to crypto currency, I’ve heard the phrase airdrop mentioned recently, and to my understanding, it’s when you perform small tasks in exchange for coins, helps build community and so forth. I’ve never taken part (wouldn’t know how!)

Can anyone give examples of tasks required to complete to earn coins? Or if it’s worth it? I’m fairly content just holding coins, I don’t have much free time but was curious as to exactly what I might be missing out on!
