We hope to still have many great years in the future, but I don’t think many years with over 1000% returns are possible. Even if we reached McAfee’s latest prediction, that could be achieved in a couple of years with those returns. So, I think it is more likely we’ll get two or three-digit percentage increases at most.

i would consider 2017 the first best year for bitcoin really. mainly because all the previous years even the biggest rises of all times in the early years were 100% pure speculation game of people finding out about bitcoin and buying more of it driving the price up.

this year however there is still mostly speculation game but there are also a lot of real adoption for bitcoin. we are seeing real physical merchants out there accepting bitcoin that have never existed back in 2010,...

But this is true when we think of it in terms of percentage, when we see this in terms of dollars this has been the best year so far and seems like a breakthrough year to me, a year in which bitcoin is no longer a coin known to some people in an obscure part of the internet, bitcoin is finally going mainstream and we'll see more of this in the next years.

Bitcoin future is bright, we still wait the next halving. Many people will earn bitcoin as much as possible before halving happen. When the supply decrease 50% it will make the price rise to the moon.

Al over the world 2017 was the year for btc because every where in the world be it newspaper, print media, T.V etc one thing was common and that was cypto currency every where. 2017 was truly one of the best years for bitcoin and will also be known as the year that bitcoin grabbed the attention from investors. It is also the year that some major cryptocurrencies, not just bitcoin alone, transformed into real assets.

Hopefully, 2018 will bring more positive news for Bitcoin. The competition from other cryptocurrencies in the market is very stiff and bitcoin lost some of its market dominance to the altcoins.

We can't never know how much the price is going to be, all of these is still some speculation to make so we never know how long is the price going to drop or rise. 2017 gave bitcoin it's break. It's stability and the quick growth on the price chart made bitcoin a very prospective investment. It even helped altcoins to grow as well. Increase in people's support helped bitcoin tackle volatility. It will mostly cross 30 k by the end of the first half of 2018.

Based on net growth and not percentage statistics, 2017 has clearly been the best year for Bitcoin with an opening at the three figure mark and closing at much over the five figure mark. Pretty sure the whole world of speculators were talking about $5k~ for the first 6 months of the year and Bitcoin breached all expectations reaching to as much as $20k.
