it is always necessary to diversify the risks! You can not buy one coin for the whole deposit

Understood and agree but my investment is so small it doesn't matter at this point. Once I get further into the crypto trade I will have many different coins.

40% correction is too much(for two days). Definitely a buy. Already bought some at 2.40.

hey I am new in crypto..is it ripple good choice on long term?
It's good if you want to bag holding it for a long term. Ripple is definitely centralized coin, everyone knows that, and that is a contradiction with cryptocurrencies scenes nature which is decentralized. But I'm sure Ripple is the way of bankers to fight against the decentralized dominance, no matter how much people hate it, it will still sustainable because it's backed by bankers.

And the above is why I choose ripple for my first investment.

Ripple is the best alt coin in my recommendation.I think Ripple is the next BTC because now it's position is number two in coinmarketcap.
XRP touched 3$+ i think in this year this is great alt coin.

all my friends who are using cryptos told me to stay away from ripple and now look at it , it's over 2$ but I'm also aware because it's controlled by the banks so I'm not so happy with it so I might skip buying ripple and stick to my VESTARIN ICO.

Coinmarketcap started excluding the Korean exchange prices from its averaged ripple price. That makes  it seem like ripple has crashed further than it really has on coinmarketcap.

The Korean exchange prices were far higher than elsewhere.

Its on a dip at the moment @ $1.15 ... I bought at 2.20 and 1.60

It might go lower .. who knows. It reached a high of over $3 two weeks ago.

The market really move so fast, prices may change anytime. But this is way we have chances to gain profit. Exactly, who knows it go higher over $3. Actually, prices won't be in favor for us all the times and in investment sometimes we experience of losing. That is why, we should know how to play our coins inside the market for us to lessen it's  percentage of losing.

I am New to crypto and been trying to buy some ripple as a start. I used Toast as my wallet. I am looking for up to 200 ripple coins and I can pay via paypal.

Or if anyone knows of a site where I can buy ripple without having to give a bunch of personal details please link it to me in this thread. The only ones I found ebay ect. have a 50 % + mark up from the current value.

Thanks,

RentMoney

I managed to get signed up and found a way to do the annoying 2fa process. Currently depositing at Coinbase sending to Binance and trading eth for Ripple.

I invested a little in it for the very reason most dislike it. They are trying to get involved with the banks.

Now the whole market is going down so it's not yet time to buy coins. You need to wait until the market starts to grow. And then you can buy a ripple to get a quick profit.

no one can say when the market is making its upward leap again, and when the entire market jumps against communal currencies its not even profitable to pick withing the market, because everything decent correlates with each other,

ripple is a huge exception, i expect currencies to enter/add a poltical social dimension to themselves next to the current US value dimension, then things get more even more complicated.

I think that now is a great time to buy this coin. The team plans to conclude new contracts with banks and this can significantly increase the price. But you need to consider the overall situation on the market - the fall may drag on.
