They must have noticed the great potential of cryptocurrency so they are riding the wave. Well i guess it is not impossible to noticed that, since cryptocurrency has been a trending topic for the past few months when bitcoin boom and i think telegram as being used for announcement for ICOs and bounty campaign has contribute a reason for them to launch its own blockchain and cryptocurrency.

I think they are just rejected on the US, but the token sale will still commence outside the US Citizen.  So I think the telegram token sale will continue for those who are not US citizen.

Well, they have to face the charges and get out of it before saying that these SEC guys won't be able to stop them., and No, centralized are well accepted, government favors it especially when they have control over it.  Remember the reason of several ETF rejection?  The volume is too decentralized they cannot confirm the validity of the trade, so I think the government is looking for something centralized.

That's dubious to happen, not necessary all company, project, services, etc. should adopt decentralization some of them must remain centralized.
And based on some projects released in the last few years are the fact that not all decentralized projects will have a bright future.

It was an emergency restraining order against telegram that was being raised I believe, but as the US government will do, they'll deny anything related to the incident.

I think even then realise how big for crypto-currencies the billion dollar telegram IPO will be, they are already a huge messenging application and I hope they start interegrating crypto in their applications more now since the majority of their userbase is crypto-based.

I don't think it'll face any issues with the SEC or the US government, it's way to hard to stunt the growth of them now, especially after they've already raised almost 2 billion in funding. They are unstoppable now.

I think we'll see them quickly deal with this by the end of the year and we'll be able to see them move forward, I'd like to see how they intergrate crypto payments in their messaging app.

I heard this news, And to my knowledge they have raised a lot of money in their Initial Coin Offering. Their proceeds amount to 1.7 Billion $. There will definitely be a large amount of funds to further enhance the development of their coins and it will definitely have a huge impact on Crypto Currency once it open on the market.

My friends are really interested with this concept too, they think telegram has a huge potential, I just don't know what is the status of Telegram now given the chance that they earn a lot in ICO , but now I don't have any idea, my last news was that they said they paused, not sure but hoping for telegram to become successful, it will be a huge for blockchain and to telegram.

It was a Very promising project, alot of people were optimistic about it but with this ugly development and halt from SEC, I wonder how the project will fare. Even if they solve the SEC issues, the initial interest from people is kind of dying down a little.
