Hi!

I am a total noob.

1) In 2016 I downloaded bitcoin core wallet
2) Copied receiving address and gave it to a guy to send me some BTC as a test as I planned to do some job for him
4) He sent some BTC but my Bitcoin Core balance showed 0 amount
3) Later I realized I need to wait for the blockchain to sync, it counted numerous weeks and gigabytes.
5) I did not have enough hard-drive space and quit trying (the $ sum was tiny)
6) Several days ago I stumbled upon this website and checked my receiving address:  bitinfocharts. com/bitcoin/address/1N3fAWWVwtrUP4cjaGJNYDLzj4wkDnRUkT   (looks like i have 0.02893818 BTC worth 439.18 USD)

7) Is it possible to take those funds from Bitcoin Core wallet?
Cool Again, I cannot get the wallet to sync with blockchain as mine is very old PC and it shows disc space warning, just some 500 mb remaining.
9) I would prefer sending those BTC to an online exchange (I have 1 account) where I can sell BTC and withdraw money to Master Card

What are my options to resolve the issue? Would you please advise!

Thanks!

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

What's the online exchange? Bitcoin to Mastercard withdrawal seems shady.
Backup the wallet.dat file before you do anything.

I suppose this could help you:
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/4203/how-can-i-export-the-private-key-for-an-address-from-the-satoshi-client

It details how to extract the private key from the Bitcoin Core wallet.
You can then import it into another wallet that doesn't require the full blockchain to work properly.

You should be careful with secret keys.

As for low memory you can uninstall unnecessary applications or move some files on google drive or skydrive  there are many online cloud storage  to save your photos or documents.

In your situation, once you have extracted your private key from Bitcoin Core by following the info from unholycactus, I would recommend that you try Electrum (https://electrum.org/#download)

Electrum is a "lightweight" SPV wallet... it only needs to download around 35-40 megabytes of blockchain header data... it does NOT need to download the full blockchain like Bitcoin Core.

NOTE: If you are on an older version of Windows (anything older than Windows 10), you'll most likely need to use version 2.9.3 (available in Electrum archives here: http://download.electrum.org/2.9.3/)

You will be able to import your private key as follows:

For v2.9.3: File -> New\Restore -> Standard wallet -> Use public or private addresses
For v3.0.3: File -> New\Restore -> Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys

Once imported, you will then be able to send your BTC wherever you want Smiley
